Painful injection sight

I just started my cycle after being off for 14 wks. and I have always injected into my shoulders(alternating every injection). I injected Fri. and on Tues. my shoulder is swollen and very painful hard to lift arm over head. This has never happened and I have injected my self numerous times with no problem even inject my brother and he has never had a problem.Could it be an oil absess? I'm on BD Enanthate. Anyone ever have this?

how much did you inject?
was everything sterile?

Yes you probably pushed in to fast, plus that is a big pin for the shoulder, i use 25g 5/8 pin. Its virtually painless. heat it up also, thats helps alot with the pain and the injecting.

Thanks Bro, I injected my brother right after me and he had no problems, but I know I pushed in slowly and he had 2cc. You mean heat up my shoulder with like a heating pad? It can't be an absess right that is from frequent injects in the same spot time after time right?

Yea, heat up some water, then just before it starts boiling take it off the burner, and put your bottle in for a couple min. As far as your shoulder is concerned, it will only hurt for a day or two, depending on the individual.

If the injected area skin is discolored, giving it a more redish appearance & it feels hot then yes an infection is trying to take hold. I recommend antibotics.

But if u bruised the muscle because u injected to fast then avoid the area for a couple weeks, let it heal.

You should also try massaging the site after injecting as is done with Syntherol or maybe you could try injecting it into the glutes..that works better for me.

Yeah, my shoulder is not discolored and is no warmer then the rest of my body just really swollen(wish it looked like this normally haha). I did start taking an antibiotic this morning just in case. Yeah I think I'm going into the glut from now on. I am starting to get sharp pains going up to the side of my neck with certain movements in my shoulder. I also don't think it helped when I did a heavy shoulder day the day after the injection.

I use 23g 1inch. And also, the last 2 injections, after pulling out the needle, some of the gear ran out of my shoulder? Anyone know why this happned?

do you aspirate before to inject?
I m doing my first injections since 4weeks and it never happenned to me even with HCG subQ.
I m using 23g 1" to inject oil based in my quads. i still never did the delts.

Use 1" 23 ga. to get it into the belly of the muscle in your shoulder, glute outside upper quarter of your cheek use 1 1/2" 23 ga. thigh hand length above knee top outside quad 1" 23 ga. This will give you 6 injection locations, alternate, this will allow time for spots to heel.

I have had the same problem, but i don't think my shoulders will ever be the same becasuse I used DenKall Test. Suspension in glutes,quads, thighs, and shoulders, and i was in a body cast for 3 weeks, don't know why. Needless to say, I discontinued it's use , but still having pain with the shoulder injects., so i only inject the other four sites, in stead of the six.. Also, try moving the injection sites that way you your not shooting into scare tissue.............

just put it under hot running water for a few seconds. That will make it easier to shoot. I also, rub the area outward with alot of pressure after inject., it keeps the soreness away a little better.. I am using T-400 & Deca 300.. Imagine what T-400 can normally do if those precautions were not taken..

I also use 23 G 1"needles with all site injects!!

It sounds like you've only had a couple runs w/ gear (I could be wrong), but I primarily injected my glutes for my first dozen cycles until I started noticing a build up of scar tissue. Your ass has a lot more area to inject vs. a shoulder or other smaller muscle group. I would stick w/ that area for a while if u haven't already.
