In my 40s, getting over a shoulder injury, and getting ready to begin a light cycle of test; 250mgs/wk for a fairly lengthy cycle. What is the recommended weekly dosage of Arimidex (.5mg Anastrazole), and should I start taking it upon start up the first week or wait a few weeks?

You could more then likely get by without on this cycle. But if your hell bent on using it there is no way you would need more then 1mg eod

Well, not really hell bent, just following suggestion from my Guru and needed another opinion. Still not sure about when in the cycle to use it. Thanks for the input.

If you use it, use it through out cycle.

with such a low test dose 0.25mg day should be plenty.

Even EOD would be fine

A .25mg ed or eod will do you fine brutha, but with a cycle that light, I do not think you will need it.

Thanks fellas. Sounds like I've been instructed well. With what you've said it sounds like the original advice of .5 mg twice/wk. is on the money. Damn I love this board! :D

ironcat why do you want to take arimidex? i would think that such a low dose of testosterone you would want that little bit of estrogen to help size and strength gains, its not like your going to get gyno from 250mg a week

You are correct brutha, but I think that he is gyno prone, I may be wrong though.

No, I haven't had any Gyno problems so far, but I think the rational for his suggesting Arimidex was because this is going to be a lengthy cycle (sort of a HRT program) for as long as I want to stay on....maybe all summer. However, I do train hard and don't want to lessen any muscular benefits. Will half mg. twice/wk. do that? Now I'm confussed again.

confused about taking arimidex? this is just a suggestion...buy some arimidex and nolvadex along with your testosterone. do your 250/wk cycle, if you start seeing any problems such as gyno start both anti's at same time, nolvadex will solve problem immidiatly, arimidex will take a little longer to kick in, once gyno has gone away stop the nolvadex and continue with arimidex throughout cycle. ive done 500mg test without armidex or nolvadex use and didnt have any problems throught my cycle.

If he starts the arimdex with his cycle he will not need the novadex(vice versa) In addition, that is a very mild cycle, he will probably not need anything if he is not gyno prone.

Once Again, Thanks for the imput guys. Since it's not a must that I use it (as long as there are no problems), I think I'll just hold on to the tabs in case I need'um.

deca wouldn't be a bad thing to ad with a post surgery. If it was me I would just have the nolva on hand for your test.
