So I've been working on a software program to keep track of my progress when I’m on cycle. I wanted something to keep a record what gear I’ve taken, what my diet was, what my gains were like, etc. Right now, I’m working on improving it and possibly releasing it for others to use as well.

Very good idea!

One suggestion:

Put an option (combobox?) option to select the number of meals per day...actually i eat 7 so no option right now as i saw only 6 in your screenshots.

Make the food screen multitab (one tab per meal) and add general tab to see the general number of the day: Pro,carb,fat and total calories (at least).

Thanks for the input, great ideas. The whole food/diet section is still in the very early stages, so I'm sure I'll be tweaking it quite a bit. The more suggestions I get, the better it will be when I finish (if I ever finish);)

Nice. Is it a desktop or web application? Using .NET with SQL Server db?

It's just a simple desktop application, uses text and xml files to store the info.

Yes, I'll admit that I'm a geek.:D I don't look like your typical geek though. I look out of place at work since most of my co-workers are either skinny asian guys, or fat white guys.

I just use a calender and write on that, if there isnt enough room, i dont write, i remember! (or tyr to!)
