Hey guys i was wondering if anyone knew how to wrap a shoulder and if i should use a elastic wrap. if you know any sites that would be helpful as well. i figure i ask you guys cause i am sure some of you have had the same problem.
Well i was working on bench and the forks that hold the bar on rack (before you do your set) I over shot. The weight went over one of the forks and on the ground while the other one was on the fork post. I was upset that my spotter wasnt paying attention (too busy looking at the fucking ugly bitch and i mean ugly!!!) i didnt feel any pain until later on that night. so i just need to leave it alone and give myself a week and 1/2 and then see if its ok. So far not much pain after only 2 days.
OH by the way would you think that the since i am on some gear right now that the healing of my shoulder would be faster?
thanks guys for your help

Yes gear will speed up your healing.
Do you think you actually tore your rotar cuff?

i would not keep it still if it is just a strain, i would keep it warm and do a full range of motion everyday. if it does not feel better in a few days, go see the doc man.

i dont know. i just know that i got a dull pain in the front delt area. i was just going to wrap it but still move. the wrap would just give it some support. any knowlege on shoulder wrapping will be helpful. moving my arm back and foward doesnt cause any pain sensetion but lift it out to the side does but the pain like i said is in the front delt area.

chances are if it was a tear, you would have felt it right away... feel it for heat and swelling... if it swells, use ice, if you can get your hands on it biofreeze works wonders, I recommend it to all of my clients... contrast therapy works wonders for healing as well.

Ive personally been dealing with a pain in my right shoulder area, its most likely a tear but I cant afford an MRI right now... its only when I do one really specific motion, I really think that it might be Pec Minor, which is a really awkward muscle to injure .
My advice would be to take 4-6 days off at the least, try some ROM (range of motion tests) that will let you narrow down where your injury might be, if you need help you can explain it on here and I can probably locate your issue.

How is the shoulder now???
I keep telling guys but it is the truth. I have had bi-lateral rotator cuff issues and the "ShoulderHorn" keeps my shoulders healthy! And no, I am not affiliated with the company that makes/sells them- just passing on the good advice from experience.
