6'7" 230lbs. My first cycle included 50mg dianabol ed and Tren-E 300mg/week. Didn't seem to respond to either...no strength gains at all. Wasn't eating real clean but i was taking in about 5000cals/day
I want to run another cycle with the following:
Anadrol-50mg /ed week 1
- 100mg/ed week 2-4
either Test-E 750mg/week 1-12
or Supertest 900mg/week 1-12
Equipoise 600mg/week 1-12
...and obviously clen. clomid and nolva for pct
My goal is to gain mass and strength, not too worried about fat gain...i could use some. I figured the d-bol would take care of that in my last cycle but i definitely did not respond.
What would you suggest for for the Test I should use?

your first cycle was really bad. i would reccomend the following since this will be your first test experience
d-bol 5 weeks optional
test e 500mg 12 weeks
eq 400mg 10 weeks
pct with nolva and clomid

oh and diet is key to all gains. 5000 calories doesnt me shit. you need to get proper amounts of protein, fat, carbs, sugur, etc.

There is no nostradamus like members here :rolleyes: so reply first to this obvious questions:
How old are you?
Ecto,Endo,Meso?
Daily activities?
Years of training?
Training split?
With this height and this weight 5000cal per day seems to be....
...NOT ENOUGH.
Roids improves protein synthesis...but can't add protein to your muscles if you don't eat enough...

Ok.
Nothing is writed in stone but to have an (aproximative) idea of you BMR without use of advanced equipment form hospital we can use this formula:
For Men
BMR = 66 + (13.7 x weight in kg) + (5 x height in cm) - (6.8 x age)
I use this online convertor:

So for you:
BMR = 66 + (13.7 x 104.33 KG) + (5 x 200.66 cm) - (6.8 x 21)
BMR = 66 + 1429,321 + 1003,3 - 142,8
BMR = 2355,821
Your Basal Metabolic Rate is 2355,821 calories per day, this means that you spend this amount of calories simply staying alive...withou any move/activity.
Now we add your activity level factor, in your case 1,8 seems to be the right one (5 days per week in gym + basket....) so:
2355,821 x 1,8= 4240,4778
This amount of calories is the amount you spend daily but you want to increase weight so you need to increase it by 20% for your phenotype so:
4240,4778 + 848,09556 (20%) = 5088,57336
5088 calories per day is the amount of calories you need per day to increase weight without significant new fat depot.This amount is aproximative of course.:)
Divide this amount in 5-6 meals aim for 500 gr of protein 300-500 in carbs (depending the day) and the rest in healthy fats.
If you can't gain weight right now with 5000 cal per day (are you sure about 5000?) there are 3 possible reason (or a combination of them):
1 - Not enough cals/protein per meal/day.
2 - Not enough rest.(at least 8 hours per day...10 hours is optimal)
3 - Not enough muscle stimulation (lack of INTENSITY).

Great info. I just learned all that stuuf in Nutrition class but never thought to use it.
I know during my last cycle i wasn't getting enough sleep...the trenbolone made mee wake 2-3 times a night sweating and i couldn't get back to sleep(i won't be using that again).
And obviously i was lacking in the protein/cal intake, gonna buy weight gainer, chicken, fish, and pasta next cycle.

I'm usually the last person to recommend longer cycles to newbies, run the eq at least 12 weeks to get it's full benefits. Also, it doesn't have the same test crushing properties of deca so it's ok to run it the same legth as the test e.

Good Post Sammarbella. The Harris Benedict Formula is perfect. I've used it on all three of my bulking cycles now I'm 6' 3" 275lbs 12% bf and feel great. Keep your diet clean and precise. If you have to write it down calculate it and stay very close to these numbers. If you do that your going to see what you striving for.
