I was wondering if anyone else gets tendinitis so damn bad in their elbow that you can barely lift your arm.
I get this in my left elbow and was wondering if anyone had some suggestions or ideas, I've only gotten it the times I've used d-bol (40 mgs a day) and I know other than the obvious (don't use it) is there some suggestions? I have enough to front load my next cycle (approx 5 weeks worth) and I hate wasting gear, I've done that enough from crappy advice BAB (Before Alin Boards) but the pain is a bitch when you're lifting so the D would have to sit on the shelf unused.

If it is "tennis elbow" it is most likely Lateral Epicondylitis and if it is more like "Golfers elbow" its probbaly medial epicondylitis... my advice would be to see a massage therapist... I have helped plenty of people fix these problems as well as strengthen their wrist flexors/extensors to help prevent this from happening again

Does it hurt real bad when you are doing preacher curls and barbell curls? I get the same shit. Got to work through it.

if it hurts doing preacher curls its most likely Medial Epicondylitus... if it hurts more when you do Hammer curls or Reverse Curls its most likely Lateral Epicondylitus...
you don't need to work through it, you can have it worked on and lessen the pain... im telling you you massage therapy can help fix alot of problems like this

Most LMT (Licensed Massage Therapist) can work out your problem... but I would look into someone with NMT (Neuro-Muscular-Therapy) Qualifications...
Tell them that you have Medial Epicondylitis... or Golfer's Elbow... if they are good they will dig around and find a bunch of other shit that you probably didnt even know was wrong with you. Right now im seeing a guy for KMI (Structural Intigration) work... its some painful stuff but its amazing to say the least. (Yesterday he lifted my abs off my stomach and worked the fascia underneath them)
If you work out consistantly you should get deep tissue massages regularly... it will speed up recovery time and save you a whole world of cramps and pain...

It's definitely when I extend, preacher curls hurt like hell but it seems to go ape shit when I bench, I don't "lock out" because I sure as hell don't want to hyperextend my elbows but, it starts on the pinky side and goes down not up to the shoulder.
On that deep tissue massage, I don't know and that's why I'm asking but does that tear the muscles down a bit and stimulate growth? I heard it did something along those lines, works and it was awesome but a little uncomfortable.

it forces toxins out of the tissue, stimulates circulation, stimulates healing hormones (and other ones similar to endorphins) and relaxes the muscle which takes pressure off the tendons which are what is causing your pain. Your wrist flexors and extensors attatch on a comon tendon right past your olecrenon process (elbow)... its referred pain, I would guess that you have ischeimic tissue on your medial wrist flexors since that is common to the pain you are describing. NMT is the way to go IMO but any LMT that has practiced for more than a year will have dealt with this problem many times... also wrist stretches can be very helpful
