Hey,
a total newbie question from my side here!
When you have drawn the gear up into the syringe, how do you get it into the steril vial? Do you just stick the needle through the rubber or how do you do that? And do you change needle everytime you have drawn from the sachet or?
I have searched but I could not find my answer and I want to do this absolutely right :)
And what size of needles and syringes to use when you suck it up?
Thanks in advance!

Yes, thru the rubber. No, don't change needle if your doing all sachets at once. 22 or 23g.
The best part is when you stick the needle thru the sachet and all that wonderful oil starts running down your hand.

Sounds so easy when you put it like that :)
So all I need is pins, syringes and vials? I dont need any flip-top seals or rubber-stoppers? Or do the pre-sealed vials already come with the rubber-stoppers??

What's up Deppe! Just order the presealed vials and stick the needle through the rubber stopper after you swob with Isopro..(forget spelling)alcohol swob...Use the biggest gauge you have to withdraw and put into 10ml vials...Just don't use an 18 guage to fill a 30 ml vial cuase that big of pin might leave some holes and/or push a piece of rubber into the vial with that many injects through...The bigger the pin the easier to push oil through but there are advantages and disadvantages...Say you get a 25g. pin cuase it's small...It may feel less on the prick but will take longer to push oil through...an 18 gauge is only for withdraw if anything since it's so big...

Someone mentioned this method a while ago. Put a needle into the vial and then use another syringe to get the gear out, take off the needle and put the syringe onto the needle inside the vial already that way you don't have to make anymore holes. Make sure you put the 2nd needle somewhere clean though if you use it for another packet.

I definatly agree about putting a 18 g in the vial not a good idea I did t5his once and it does make to big of a hole in the rubber made it leak a little had to move to a new vial. I use 21g and I also leave one pin in the vial so not to keep putting holes in the rubber and use another to get it out of pack
