Steroids and STD's

ok.... well heres another question....

well this could be information for a friend, for my cousin, my co-worker, even me, but here is the question...

Can steroids affect STD the person may have? For example, someone may have genital warts, but its suppressed, and they have no symptoms, but the HPV virus is in there blood system and they do have it, or lets say genital herpes, again, the virus is suppressed, they take valtrax 1 a day kinda deal and they havent had a breakout in little over a year.....

well no, heres the question, whether they take any medication or not, becuase i dont want to throw you guys off with what kinda of medicine, will it counteract the steroids, etc... etc... no, no medication is being taken, other than the fact that the person has an STD and just practices safe sex....

so will steroids give any STD's any stronger affects? Will it enhance it? will it make it stronger? for someone that hardly ever experiences breakouts or symptoms, will taking steroids cuase the STD to grow stronger?

well..... thats that... any helpful info and feedback would be greatly appreciated... thanks....

actually, people with HIV or aids do take steroids. HIV or aids destroys muscle tissue and steroids help counter that in most patients. I get cold soars, yes I got them from some tramp I messed with in college. I notice that I dont get them that often when i am on cycle but i do when I come off a cycle. I think its mainly due to stress because I know I'm not going to look as full when off cycle compared to when on. So my answer would be that I dont think it would make your...ahemm.. err.. your friends cousin I mean, STDs super STDs. :D this is just my opinion... and of coarse, i could be wrong. And no herpe lip jokes fellas!!!

I have to check this info out but If i read it correctly then it states that steroids boost the immune system i will get back to you on this but i will make sure that, thats what it says.

i think anadrol has been used or is still being used for HIV not sure tho if its still being used but they have done studys on it with HIV

Depends on the steroid I think. Some steroids are prescribed to knock back the immune system when you have an auto immune issue. My first GI doc thought that was my prob and made my liver issues worse. I had liver probs from oral steroids and what did the dumbass do? Prescribe me oral steroids for my imaginary autoimmune disease.:eek:

HIV/AIDS patients are not primarily given steroids to boost their immune system. they are given them to counter-act the muscle wasting they undergo while having the disease/therapy. But there are imuune system boosting effects from certain compounds.
Test is supposed to boost the immune system I heard.

i know they give DECA to hiv/aids patients (dont know how often) and i am sure test probly works with immune system to... but i have heard that alot of aas screw you with your immune system and im pretty positive that anadrol is definetely one of the leading ones.... but im no doctor so dont take none of this to the bank
