My cousin turns red all over too... especially in the nether regions... niacin just has that tendency with a lot of people... it will go away... but you need to be taking in a fair amount of water too!!

Get flush free.

Quick story:

I worked at a nutrition store a while back and a customer returned a bottle of 250mg Niacin because he said the flush was too much for him. I personally never tried it until that point. Well, I went in the back and popped 2 tabs just to see what he was talking about. HOLY SHIT BATMAN. I turned so freakin red that in 10 minutes my co-workers wanted to call me an ambulance. My skin felt like I just stepped out of a tanning bed after 6 hours on max power. It was kinda cool but freaked me out at the time. I later tried the flush-free and had zero effects.

Depends on the person(given) and I think it depends on the exact Niacin...I had a drug test in highschool and took a ton...Sure my shit was black but I passed the drug test(Weed being th e culprit back then....No longer a rec. drug...)

Niacin will cause flushing of the skin. You can buy a non-flush Niacin

perfectly normal, not an alergic reaction.

well FYI for n e one considering doing some niacin, not that its a huge deal requiring lots of thinking, but after the flush fire feeling, i felt like a mil. bucks.

no exageration, i had lots of energy, i felt lighter, little more focused. just felt good.

im going to continue use just because the after effect is awesome.

this is all IMO of course.

get the time released nician. It will not cause any of the symptoms you described.

Yeah, I used it when I used to smoke weed. It will help you pass a drug test for that. I'd take 500mg, and hell yeah, it would light me up light a red lightbulb on a whorehouse porch. But the time released version is much better.

you can get niacin at your local wal-mart, grocery store, gnc, vitamin world, cvs, rite aid, etc... Just about anywhere that sells any kind of dietary supplements or multi-vitamins.

GIJONES you made the right decision about the niacin, keep taking it. There's a reason it made you feel like a million bucks: it's an anti-depressant vitamin, seriously, I read a book about it called "How to Live with Schizophrenia" when I was really depressed last year and this doctor was giving it to suicidal mental patients who didn't respond to medication, but they took megadoses of niacin (2000 - 6000mg) and they got better! And it worked for me too. But be warned, although this doctor may be on the right track he takes it too far. I tried 6000mg one day and the next morning I woke up and threw up non-stop for six hours! I thought I was going to die. But that's just a worst case scenario, 500mg/day is all I take now and it works fine, niacin is truly a miracle vitamin. Anyone considering anti-depressants should definitely try niacin and a healthly lifestyle instead.

you can finish the bottle, just take it after a good meal, and not too much. the amount you took may have been too high.
