I have used NO-Xplode for about a year. I love the energy it gives me, but it also gives me the shits like crazy. I like it, but you grow immune to it kind of fast.
Also, I LOVE their creatine ethyl ester. Awesome taste in grape.

i tried a NO XPLODE match which gave me more product for less price. Precision Engineered makes it i believe. NOS Blast i think they call it.
but than again that was b4 i started shopping online and it was $10 cheaper than NO Xplode, but the guy said it had more stuff per serving, and more servings per container.
a pharmacist told me choc. milk(sugars for the transport) + creatine mono is a great combo.

you would do 10X better using grape juice
I use plain micronized creatine monohydrate powder-Biotest. There is no evidence aything is more effective than monohydrate powder mixed with dextrose.

Liquid creatine is not as strong because, when you mix creatine with any liquid it starts to break down into creatineine. (I think thats how you spell it) That’s a byproduct that’s not good it dosen’t help you out at all. I read it some where that the liquid was tested off the shelves and some bottles contained little or no creatine because it was breaking down in the bottle. So stay away form that liquid it’s a waste of money and it doing nothing for you. Also the reason some of you guys got the shits is because if you take too much (overdose) the side effect is THE SHITS you have to find the correct grams that you can handle. The highest amount the body can actually use is anywhere between 7-10 grams no more than 10 grams though. The rule of thumb for the loading phase is 0.08 grams per lbs. And if you just drink the creatine you should really find something with sugar that will cause an insulin spike or you body will not use all of the creatine. The trick is to drink it with some orange juice then like 20 & 30 & 40 minutes after the drink another glass of orange juice to keep that insulin spike going. That way you can absorb a LOT more of the creatine. Dextrose is higher glycemic and causes longer and higher insulin spikes than say fructose or sucrose. It's the highest glycemic natural sugar. Even at that, the largest part of the insulin boost will be gone by the time the creatine reaches the muscle. Destrose is a good idea but not mixed with the creatine.

Actually a non-acidic liquid is recommended. So you be better with grape juice. The reason why Waxy Maize (Vitagro) has become so popular is because it has the same creatine osmosis rate as the insulin spike so the creatine and the spike hit at the same time thus causing much more absorption of the creatine ingested. As far as a dextrose mix it's best to mix with maltodextrin so again the creatine timing is in sync which the insulin release. Some people get too fancy in my opinion and these tend to be the people who weight 175 lbs and use 50% intensity in the gym. I like and use creatine don't get me wrong but some people speak of it like it's 50mg d-bols in powder form.

i agree with this for creatine monohydrate...but the genetically engineered Kre-Alkalyn supposedly never turns into creatinine....or am i being fed BS from the guy at the local supplement store? i was under the impression that that happens with monohydrate...but not kre-alkalyn

BUMP citric acid is not good for absorption...i had a trainer/pharmacist and a couple other people tell me that, something to do with the citric acid and something causing us to make our own creatine thus discard the externally ingested stuff...
i thought milk would be bad becuz of how it can coat the stomahc, but it works well.
irokfreak mentioned something about kool-aid... i think its awesome.
i did a creatine, tribulous, no xplode little thing and went from somewhere of 163-175. now im 181.
just felt like throwing that in there.

Hey,
I just mix creatine mononydrate powder (5g) with my protien suppliment and water and have it an hour before my workouts (5 days a week). Should I be taking it separately with grape/orange juice?
Thanks.
do you use creatine on off days too?
Nope.

What are you talking about? The Dextrose will enter the blood stream with the creatine, insulin will then be secreted and shuttle the dextrose and creatine into the cells.
Any high GI sugar will work-other than fructose.

Have something with fast digesting protein and carbs togter with your creatine right before and after training or after training.
IE: 5g Creatine, 2 Scoops Whey, 2 Scoops Gatorade POWDER.
Or buy something like Surge or any other post workout drink and add your creatine.

thanks JW for answering my question, (and everybody else but i knew everyone would say ED) ive heard that there really is no benefit to taking it ED, only on workout days, so thats what ive been doing. if you think about it everything makes sense. when do you take creatine? right after your workout, even before your protein (unless your taking them together) that is when it is most effective and best absorbed, so why on an off day would you take it while your sittin on your ass watching tv ya know? Jeffdev69, who told you that 6 weeks is max for creatine usage. ive never heard of this. just to help us out, i try to do this too, its always a good idea when saying something "outrageous" like that to back it up, im sure most of us have never heard of this before. im sure ive said some things that most poeple have never heard of or disagree with but i will always provde proof and documentation. you know that red meat contains creatine too, so does that mean that 6 weeks max of red meat then take a break? im not trying to sound like an ass just very confused on why you think this.
6 weeks max is not correct... It's a theory believed by few-not many.

6 weeks because you will fill up your receptor sites like anything else and you wont benefit from it and yea creatine is found in meat but at low dosages .and JW no problem man you have a different view in the usage in creatine. Thats cool! really do you konw how many uses are suggested? i am sure you are. not insulting your intillegence(i do have a lot of respect for any one that alin vouches for) but i just have a different view. and i do have recourses to back up my findings. no problem with that. everybody is different and so are their views this was just mine weather you want to use it is up to you i wasent telling you guys anything that would hurt you. i was just telling you guys what my approach is thats all. no hard fellings much love!

You do not fill up "creatine receptors" creatine is stored in muscle cells like aminos or a better example glucose/carbs are. You simply keep the muscles full year round-no need to let your creatine stores empty out...
Def no hard feelings-new ideas, different approaches , that's what forums are for!
