Ok.... lets say my name is Bob Smith

And i have my postcards sent to my home address with a different name like "john Doe"

could i still sign and redceive my package?

do yall have postcards sent to your home adress using your real name? I have dont this with no problems, but what would be the smarter and more logical thing to do?

thanks

jv

Only problem I can see is if they ask for ID. Then you're screwed.

Many people use real name for delivery, some go with made up name too.

It doesn't matter which way you do it. Use a real or made up name and you or someone else can sign for it even if it is registered to you. I have done it both ways with no problem. My roommate just signed for me when I wasn't there and it works fine.

If you sign for a package that isnt yours you would look extremely guilty if a controlled delivery was taking place. Think about it no one would sign for a pack if they didnt know what was in it and it didnt have their name on it.

MY .02...
The smart, logical thing to do is know the consequences of your actions. Whether you use your real name or not...the laws are there to be enforced if johnny badass feels like bustin' ya!! Using a false name incriminates you more in my opinion.

be

Using your correct name is fine:

If you do miss your registered mail, it should be waiting for you at your local P. office. Once this happens you will probably be required to show your I.D. So I think it is just best to use your correct name.
