last night on my last set of squats i felt a pop in my left teardrop, almost like something partially tore. its been kinda sore for a few weeks but last night was the first time anything weird had happened. i continued the rest of my workout, even doing leg presses and leg extentions after squats with no problem, however today its sore as fuck. no bruising yet which is a good sign. just wonderin if anyone else has done this and im gonna rest my legs next week and just do calves and hams.

My guess, if you tore your vastus medialis you would be screaming in pain! Hopefully this was not the case. Keep an eye on it and up your Glutamine. As Alin said, if it worsens, it may be best to seek a medical professional. :) Good luck buddy and I Hope you feel better.

i'm not a big believer in glutamine. from what i've seen it gets broken by your stomach acids and becomes useless. i'm not sure if they've found a way (special ester) to allow it to keep from getting deemed useless.

I've always found it very effective in tendon/muscle repair. In higher dosages anyways.

I take 2 grams of glutamine every day for the 'ol shoulder and it definetly has helped. 1 year doing it straight every day.
