Glucophage: I have found this to be a wonderdrug.

Glucophage his drug heightens the body's sensitivity to insulin, and is currently used to treat type 2 diabetes. For fat loss purposes Metformin(glucophage) is used in ketogenic diets to rapidly drop blood sugar to quickly induce ketosis. For a mixed ratio diet, Metformin would be used with carb meals insuring that the carbohydrates go to muscle tissue over fat, this is a great addition to a high sugar post workout meal.

Additionally, due to the fact that it controls insulin levels in the body, it also greatly reduces hunger in between meals. Metformin is very beneficial in that it heightens insulin sensitivity, which is very good due to the fact that most Americans are insulin insensitive. This over production of insulin which insulin insensitivity causes can lead to weight gain and also various other health problems. Now, the best way to use Metformin would be to take 2000-3000mg divided up with meals. On a moderate carb diet, you could split up the dose and take it only with your carb meals.

If you follow a CKD (cyclic ketogenic diet) type diet, the best way to use it would be with your weekend carb up, which would follow the same schedule as above. Metformin is not needed during the week, but if you like the appetite suppressing effects that it gives you, you can also use it during the week. Another thing you can do on a CKD is to have a small amount of fast acting carbs (around 40-50g) after your workout with Metformin. This will not cause you to drop out of ketosis due to the fact that the Metformin will quickly shuttle the carbohydrates into the muscle cells while still running on ketones.

If you use metaformin while in a mass phase, you gain less overall bodyfat while you gain size and you increase your sensitivity to insulin!! THis is important as many people come off a mass phase and they are sensitized to insulin. They then start to diet and they put themselves in a catabolic situation by not eating as many carbs as it requires to push maco and micro-nutrients into muscle cells. Not the case when metaformin is used and the small amount of insulin secreted by the pancreas is more than enough to push macro and micro-nutrients into muscle cells.

I have found this to be the ultimate cell volumizing formula:

Post Workout, shoot 10 ius of Humalog Insulin, then immediately consume:

1serving Cell-Tech (2 heaping scoops) contains 10 grams creatine,75g carbs
10 grams glutamine
850mg Glucophage
10mg dianabol

5 minutes later I consume 50g of Whey isolate

The insulin drives the shitload of carbs, creatine, glutamine and whey into your muscle cell. The Glucophage assists as it is a glucose disposal agent. It also makes the insulin more effective. The dianabol I like because when I consume this i get a sense of well being and it also helps my pumps. I also want an anabolic spike anytime I am eating a post workout meal.

Try this creatine cocktail while you are massing an on an assload of test. also eat one more 2 more 850 mg metaformin tabs throughout the day.

INSULIN scares me so i will have to give the metaformin a good run.

How would you go about taking the glucophage? I see that you will have 200 tabs, so I was just wondering.

I guess I asked the wrong question. I just didn't know. I read the thread, but I still was not sure what would work best.

Matti, I would be VERY careful in the use of insulin!! I see people in the hospitals on a daily basis that have severe diabetic related complications(insulin use, tissue response, vascular anomalies, delayed wound healing, diabetic neuropathy, etc., etc.,. I have never used insulin and from my current understanding of it, I will never use it. I work in medical field, I do not specialize in endocrinology and an not an expert in this field, BUT the possibilities of screwing up my pancreas and altering insulin sensitivity through the use of metformin are not risks I am willing to take. If you are using this stuff, my advice is make sure whomever is consulting you on this(and YOU yourself) are aware of all potential complications.

I have seen insulin do amazing things to the musculature of BB's, so I am not denying for a minute that it is a VERY potent anabolic agent.

I have found humalin L to be the best thing to use its a slow/long acting glucose disposal agent I take 20 IU in the morning, I dont mess around with the fast acting stuff it lowers my blood sugar to fast, of course one must buy and use a glucose meter and learn how to use it. I have found that the only time its benaficial to use insulin is during the carb loading phase of a pre contest diet, and when doing a cycle that incorporates growthhormone, T3 thyroid, and an an andgogen. :)

i cant use the long acting stuff because i can't eat low fat all day. around 2000mg a day is about right for me

I actually bought some Glucophage, and will be throwing into my diet and excercise routine along with some Syntheselen as soon as it arrives. I think it has great potential when used with a good pure carbohydrate supplement like SynthDex.... That is sold out!!!!! ;)

ya i bet bro. seen one accident cause by a diabetic dude. he had a seizure and drove right past us. i though he was on drugs or was drunk. but after he took out the tree and stopped (thanks to light pole) we later found out he had a seizure. if these ppl know they have them why do they drive? i mean they could have one while driving and run into somebody and send them to the hospital or worst.

i have read that you shouldn't use glucophage when using cytomel because this can actually increase blood glucose. is this true??
