Steaks online

I'm eating 2 steaks a day, 3 when I can, but I know some of you are eating much more than that.

I thought I would search for some online steak companies and buy in bulk (frozen of course) to save a buck, but the ones I found were much more expensive than buying them at my local grocer.

Has anyone tried the online steaks?

Any recommendations?

theres no way of getting around steaks, they will always be exensive. i tried buying them for a while but it was too costly. i still might get one (at the grocery store) every once and a while, ill always get steak or red meat if i go out to eat. chicken is good and healthy but im a red meat guy so i just go to cotsco and get bulk package 88/12 ground beef (when bulking) and live on that. its very cheap and you can always come up with new recipies when the plain beef patty startes getting boring and dull.

Another vote for Costco. You can get lean round steak for under $4 a pound.

Bump jst and oldy, costco is the easiest way to go. I tried that Omaha steak co and found that when all was said and done I payed a little more than just going to the store.

Check out your local butchers. I use one in my area and buy a whole top round at a time. The butcher cuts steaks into 12 oz portions for me and trims them very well. Scraps are ground into 95% lean 10 oz portions. His normal price is $3.89 a pound. By ordering a whole top round, I now pay $3.19 a pound. I get 2 meals a day, a typical order will last me 7-9 days depending on the size of the round he started with.

Try this,,FLANK STEAK!!!! it can get expinsive but awsome taste and packed with amino's. Tenderise with a meat cleaver, ad some square splices to the top to get the spices in, add some spices, Mine are pepper and garlic powder. Broil in oven for 8 minutes for Med Rare. You will love it!!!
