Aspirating my syringe to far..?

Just how far should I pull back on my syringe during aspiration? I think I have been pulling back to far and it is creating a strong vacuum and causing blood vessels to burst. How far is to far? Right now I pull back about 1/2 a cc, and I am getting bruises afterwards.

yeah way too far, aspirate just enough to see if blood comes in, if not, your good

way way way too much bro. only need to pull it back like a centimeter if that, just enough to see a little bubble or blood will come in quite easy if you are in a blood vessel.

where are you injecting? from what I have read there is less of a chance to hit vessels in your arse so maybe you should try there if you are worried.

I pull it back far enough to cause little air bubbles in the syringe which is cause by the vacuum. This way I know I did not hit a vessel and all is good.

I agree w/ Mr Bucket 100%. The only reason to pull back on the plunger is to see if you've hit a vessel. If u hit a bv it will definately pop like a virgin's cherry, if not, shoot away.

I actually used to never aspirate, which was very very stupid but luckily I never hit a vein. If you did you may need to move the spot of inject a little, there are great sites out there that tell where very very vessels are located. I would love to spot inject in my worthless small pec's but thats crazy. I know people that inject just about everywhere, stupid if you ask me. anyway good luck and be safe. and never inject in your schvanz

I hate to admit it but i use to be an iv drug user, between the ages of 18 to 22, iam 40 now, and the thing is when you hit a vein you can see the bloodcome into the syringe without pulling back on the plunger, and it is an art to be able to hit a vein, you kind of need to run the needle the same direction as the vein, to jab it sraight in and stop right in the middle of a vein is a million to one chance, and if you did happen to hit a vein, you would know it as soon as you touched the plunger as you would instantly be able to taste it in the back of your throat, ive been using steroids for the past twenty years and ive never hit a vein and ive never pulled back on the plunger, newbies are alwys really worried about giving themslves shots, if so pull back on the plunger, iam just saying it is definatly a skill that develops over time, ounce you develope this skill you will just kringe at the way a nurse gives a shot, and you will think to yourself this nurse needs to give shots to therselfs, because they dont know what their doing

because if your running a cycle that requires everyday shots then you need to spot inject and sticking with just a couple locations will improve your chances of getting scar tissue.

Quads are the easiest for me. I can no longer reach my glutes so I have to hit the areas that I can reach.

I must be unlucky. I hit a vein twice this year, once last week. (both in the arse) Newest thing for me is pininng the biceps cuz i can see the veins and avoid them. Kinda tickles the next day :D

I really cant believe it. I pulled back just a centimeter and got a huge blob of blood in my syringe. I freaked out for a week or so. I just havnt ever had it happen before. It was like a blood bubble in the oil, when I pulled out the needle I bled like a stuck hog for a minute or so. It just made me paranoid for a couple of days. I will be okay though. :o

I have to get it done. If not I'm forced to look like Grizzly Adams for a while. lol Nobody likes a unibrow or a hairy back. :)

i personaly like the bicep shots, no pain at all. jus feels like there pumped for a while. speaking of shaving, has any one found a hair removal product that actually works? :confused:
