This whole self rightous thing these guys are on now with all these stupid commercials makes me want to throw up. Alcahol abuse and chain smoking are a lot more dangerous than roids but by watching espn and listening to talk radio you'd think steroids were the plague.

What really gets to me is the fact that the US government classifies steroids as the same as LSD and Heroin. Class 3 drugs. What kind of BULLSHIT is this. Steroids are NOT dangerous compared to tobacco or booze or Crystal meth and cocaine. The government has truly been full of sh*t since 1990 when Bush senior signed the Steroid act into effect. Boy it makes my blood boil!!!!!

Most any drug done in moderation isn't that bad for you including coke. The problem is doing them in moderation which is damn near impossible. All of these ads against steroids and other drugs are just bullshit propaganda. They government over exagerates and even flat out lies about the dangers of drugs. Like the commercials saying a single hit of ecstacy can kill you. Total bullshit. IMO this kind of stuff does more harm than good because if people start seeing all the lies it will be hard for them to believe anything that is said even when the dangers are real. I believe in educating people truthfully on the bad and good side of anything and letting them make their own decision.

I just started typing some shit that would get deleted so I deleted myself just now(no rec. discuss) :D Anyways, you're right tatt to some extent. I used to do it and sell it along with some other things. It was hard though to keep up with school and work. It was fun for the time though. Only thing is it is like anything else. Use in moderation if any. Some people couldn't get enough and called me all night and were knocking on my door constantly. That's the reason I stopped selling. One of my bros had his adnoids takin out and they used it medically to numb the area. When he told my dad this he couldn't believe it. They really do use it for certain medical procedures though.

I'm a pretty big anti-drug guy but I don't preach my beliefs to anyone. I was pretty bad and I really think that the weights, nutrition and exercise saved my life. Got that out of the way so no one thinks I'm pro- drug. About a year ago one of the networks did an hour long special on how the govt is full of s**t about ecstasy. They said all the tests were bogus, that psychiatrists were po'd that they took away a much needed therapy for post traumatic shock, and paraded out expert after expert, including the NYC coroner who said as much. All because it wasn't invented by a big pharmacuetical co. And this was with Dan Rather on prime time TV. Just brought it up to show that when they want to demonize something (like AAS) they will go to no end.But I guess they know what's better for me than I do. NOT!

there is not alot of proof to that because people that died are said to have taken ecstacy but they dont know for sure what exactly they took it could have been something else....as far as i know mdma is not a drug you can od on......mdma just releases the seritonin in your brain...its all the other stuff they put in with it.

ESPN has AAS and MTV has cigarettes campaign. I guess it's what sells (entertainment) and what people will watch. They try to use this to take everyone's mind off everything else that is shitty in this world and focuses it on one small worth things.
Cigarettes are bad though.... kids do not try this at home.

It was very sad due to the pictures of her they were parading across the screen but the voice the old man used to say,"It killed her" made me laugh so hard I almost shit my pants. I think back to the bullshit they used to make us watch in D.A.R.E and that's the root of the problem and misinformation.

Well, I didn't laugh even though I have taken it more than once. I did shed a tear at a MADD meeting though. If you can honestly listen to everything and not get teary eyed you are cold. I had to go cause I got a DUI one time and it only act as a temp. shock not to reoffend I found out through a discussion with multiple offenders and myself.

you know, this drunk driving shit pisses me off ... the same parents who are crying, are the same ones who wouldn't let their 19 yr old kid have a few of his friends over his house drinking, so they have to wind up driving around drunk all night ... 4/5 of these kids wouldnt be drinking and driving if their parents provided them a nice environment to drink in.
