View Full Version : Decline Pullovers What Am I Hitting

I get a decline bence bench load up an EZ curl bar and do heavy pullovers. I do this for back and it feels good but I'm not quite sure which part of my back is getting the most stimulation. Is it the lats or another part such as rhomboids? I really like this excericse either way since I started it has made me thicker.

you would be hitting mostly serratus with a little lats and some lower chest towards the end of the movement.

Is the serratus really that strong? I use a good amount of weight.

yah... I useually do standard pullovers with about 100-110lbs... arnold believed that they expanded his ribcage which led to greater chest gains.

Cool, thats what I use about 110. I really love this exercise, it feels like I'm really hitting different muscles in a way I never have before. Serratus, chest, and lower lats like Big A said. I think its a very underrated excercise in maning up your physique...old school.
