Hey guys I just have to vent on those pussies you see all the time who only lift their arms and nothing else and think they are big. The look like gorillas with big swinging arms and a tiny chest and back. When you talk to ignorant people they will say these people are big if they have big arms and thats it. Well thats all i have to say. :mad:

I get where you guys are coming from, and if the person is trying ti talk smack or compare themself to you then they do suck. But training is also about what you personally want, so if someone doesn't want to train legs, or chest then thats their bag. It's all about attitude so if the other guy is cool then let them be. If the other guy is a dockhead then verbally rip them to shreads until they run from the gym crying like natty running from a all girl stripclub.

I have a medical excuse not to train legs but i still do. Not as heavy as I'd like to go but I still do it. so I dont wanna hear any excuses. :D

I know what you mean, but those people making those statements have no clue about what it takes: blood, sweat, and tears. These are just ignorant people because they don't live it like some of us do.

i am 6'3 and have the basketball look when it comes to legs but i have made them a priority and finally i see results they still look look like bird legs but instead of chicken i got turkey now hahah I CANT respect you if you arent doing front and back squats, lunges topped off with one legged leg press.

I have the opposite problem, legs grow like weeds and upper body won't grow for shit, hoping the post cards I am reading will help out.

I read somewhere before that working your legs hard actually helps build your upper body. I heard that when you plateau out try really working your legs hard to break it. I work my lower very hard. Don't quite understand people who don't. :D

there are a few places on the net and most everyone I have ever talked to also agree that if you dont train your legs you wont grow near as fast as if you trained them regularly.

Training legs is important for endogenous hormone releases, which is why lifting them is important even if you don't care whether they get big or not. Furthermore, not lifting legs is chicken-shit. Anyone can go to the gym and do curls. If you're not puking after squats you're not a man. In my book, it is Leg day that separates the men from the boys in the weight room.

i just started training only about twice a week vs all the fu-cking time and i am stronger no doubt for sure plus with the front/rear//lunge/press i have seen other increases in my incline bench and pullup(weighted) think thats something you are onto there for real

Reminds me of the idiots who only do bench press 4 times a week or curls. Or the guy who loads up the Hammer strength machine with plates then lowers the seats and does 4 1/5 reps.

I read somewhere that when you do squats you have thousands of muscles throughout your whole body that release growth hormones in your body and actually builds your entire body mass.

We had a regular restaurant customer who had polio when she was younger...
I knew her from way back when she was studying law...Everybody felt sorry for the poor girl doing the whole stephen hawking on clen down the passage thing :D
Today the cow is doing four years for dipping her greedy fingers into the trust account....bet having them big ol dykes chasin her down the shower passage in C Block has trained her legs up a bit...
and this is a true story, I kid you not......
Well not the stephen hawking bit, he IS the man in a big universey kinda way!!!

training legs is supposed to release the highest ammount of gh. ps what i hate is girls who talk about thier "huge" boyfriends, when i see them they are nothing but tubby shallow chested narrow shouldered guys with big traps.....and usually wearing a shirt from baby gap

I alwayz look forward to leg days. It's the only part of the gym that's deserted. I sit facing the bench areas so that when I'm between sets I can look over and laugh at the fools posing after each set of their 135lb bench press thinking their getting huge after 1 set. Then when they see me walking by they try to size up on me(LOL). There's alot of funny stuff that goes on in the gym.
