When on gear I need to workout the same body part more frequently. The muscles repair themselves much quicker.

Well, I work out one body part once per week. so if i do chest on monday, I wont do it again until the next monday. On or off gear, this has given me the best growth. I guess I just overtrain easily.

so you do legs once a week and everything else twice?

When do you do shoulders? I would also throw in another rest day in there.

everything once a week. sometimes even less. it just depends on if i think i recovered from the last workout session.

Bump this. When I am not on cycle I run my workouts at one part weekly but when on my program looks like this:

Sun: Chest / Calves
Mon: Arms / Hams
Tues: Back / Quads
Wed: Chest / Calves
Thur: Arms / Hams
Fri: OFF
Sat: OFF
Sun: Back / Quads

and i just keep going. It has really helped me add on a lot of weight. The big thing is make sure you are getting a lot of rest and eating good.

Truth is everybody is different and the only way to know if that is too much is to try it. If you go in on your second chest day of the week and your weights are down maybe you need more rest. Listen to your body and give it the rest it needs.

Overtraining can be caused by alot of different things. Nutrition, rest, and volume/frequency of training top the list.
I always liked to train two days on, one day off...and never more than 3 days in a row of weight training (unless i was close to a contest). I also liked to take my days off after the more demanding workouts, like back and legs.
Your body only has ONE recovery system...so careful about overtraining.

Been following Big A's hit recommendation. Seems to be paying off for me.

I think that you should work out 2 on one off or 3 on one off depending on your cycle/diet... your body is rebuilding faster so you can hit more at once...

Do none of these guys do shoulder workouts? I don't see deltoids and traps anywhere in their workouts.

when i do back/bi i work the shoulders in (military press, delts, etc.), im not really worried about that, my whole reason for getting on the gear is to widen my back and chest, chest mostly and im getting kind of discouraged because im noticing a difference everywhere except in my chest and lats. any excercise recomendations for size? this is what i do:

flat dumbell 5 sets 10
incline dumbell 5 sets 10
military press " "
bent over rows " "
triceps overhead extension (i think thas what its called)
weighted dips
tri pushdowns

all 5 sets of 10. any help to get my chest and back caught up would help me out a lot, dont wanna waste my cycle and not get bigger in the places i wanteed it most.

Have been thinking about posting my routine for a bit so here it is.

Monday- Chest/Tri's
Wednesday- Back/Bi's (including Deads after all back exercises)
Friday- Shoulders/Abs
Saturday- Legs

Sometimes I do the legs 2 times weekly sticking another day in on Tuesday.
How does this look. It seems ok, but maybe not enough? I am always sore the next day in each region I worked so I guess it is doing good.
