Bro I draw with 18 gauge needle. these are big so watch you dont get rubber in the bottle from the stopper. I use 23 gauge to spot inject 1 inch.

You spot with the 23/1'' everywhere? Or just glutes? Right now I'm looking outta drawing outta an amp at 20 but then injecting with a 23 in glute and 20 in pec & delts... comments/reco's?

With glute shots you should use 23 1-1/2" pin. For everything else you are better off using 1" pins. The reason for the longer pin with glutes is to make sure you are in the muscle layer and not the fat. Chances of abscesses grow if it is in the fat layer. And remember to aspirate.

1" pins are not long enough unless you are extremely lean, and even then you should still use a 1.5" pin for injecting. I use 22g 1.5" 3cc terumos & I put them almost completely into the muscle. Only about .15 of the pin is still showing when i have stuck myself. This goes for glutes, delts, bic, tric, quads, those are all the areas i inject.

Daaamn bro, I wouldnt inject the pecs or delts with a 20g (OUCH!)
maybe Im misunderstanding But I wouldnt advise that.

I use the 23G 1" for most everything...Glutes,shoulders,Quads.

I wouldn't recommend drawing with an 18 gauge pin You will
end up with the rubber stopper floating in your vial. I also use
23 g 1 inch pin for glutes but if you have a high fat content
then you must use 1 1/2.

23 ga. on everthing for me.. 1 1/2" ... I like to keep it simple when ordering a box of pinz.. 100 count usually.

Syringe/Needle/Injection FAQ

What gauge needles should I use?
for drawing - 20g, 21g

18g needles are too big and they will eat up your stoppers in a hurry. A bigger hole means an increased chance of letting some little nasties into your sterile vial. Sometimes, the 18g will take out little chunks of rubber that fall nicely into your vial. That is not something you want. Imagine injecting that tiny piece of rubber into your muscle. I'll bet the doctor would have lots of fun digging into your muscle trying to find it and mutilating your muscle in the process.....

for injecting - 22g, 23g, 25g - for oil-based steroids, 27g, 29g - for insulin, HCG, HGH, and some water-based steroids. 21g-25g for some lower quality types of winny or suspension, higher quality versions can use a smaller needle generally.

22g and 23g are fine for glutes and quads. 25g is preferred for the smaller muscles such as delts, biceps, triceps, etc.

23/1" is fine I use 23/1" for my tri's, 22g 1 1/2" for delts and 22g/ 1 1/2" for small glutes and 22g/2" for big back porch glutes. In my opinion 20 is too big if you use 20 might as well use an 18g HaHa! :)
