Hi all...curious if anyone's experienced this and how you dealt with it...
Caught a truly nasty cold (not test flu--my wife and son caught the same thing) my third week into a stealth cycle in which I was seeing dramatic gains. I seem to be kicking it now 8 days later, but honestly could not work out at all for those 8 days. Gonna start back tomorrow hopefully, but have already dropped about 8 pounds despite my efforts to keep food in my stomach, rest, etc.
I kept up my injections though, which feels like a bit of a waste, but didn't want to risk dropping my test levels before getting back into the game.
Good move? Being sick is enough of a downer, but losing 8 pounds of hard effort on top of it adds insult to injury...
My sister's husband just had the same problem. They all got sick, him bad enough to where he had to stop his cycle and go to the doctors for some antibotics. He just started back to the gym this week. Good luck in the rest of your cycle and putting back on the lost weight and then some.

i work thru it ... i train for strength, and when yer sick its hard to max, so i just do about 3 exersices, 3 sets per with about 70% of the weight ... get a kick pump n leave ... just to keep my muscles stimulated
when yer sick, protein shakes and carbo forces are your best friend!

Before you bum too much, just remember that if you had a cold/influenza, you lost a lot of water weight so you'r eprobably a bit dehydrated. You cannot lose 8 POUNDS of lean muscle in 8 days. Atrophy just doesn't occur that fast. Maybe if you said 3 months... A week? Nah.
Good that you kept dosing. Back to the gym with ya'! You'll get back.

No doubt, you will be fine once you get back into the gym. IMO there is no way you lost 8 lbs of hard earned muscle in 1 week. Keep eating and lifting and everything will come back to you. Good luck.

Good to know...I imagine it's just water weight as you said...
I'm perhaps too much of a scale watcher, and can tell you pretty much what I weigh at any given point in the day. My morning weight is definately down exactly eight pounds, and given that I'm seemingly more vascular than usual, bet it is just water that I lost. Time to rehydrate! Strange what a major difference in appearance 8 pounds of water can make.
Thanks guys!

Good move I say. Now better just continue where you left off with workouts and diet. Good luck!
