I have always liked ON, but I am wanting to try something new now that I need to re-up on my protein mix. I was using ON's Complete Protein Diet Mix, it has 3g of net carbs per serving and 35g of protein and since I am on the low carb diet, it is very conducive to the diets regiment of 20 net carbs per day.

Now that I need to re-up on my mix, I was thinking of try BSN's Syntha-6, but it has 9G of net carbs and only 22g of protein... BLAH! I am also thinking of going with Jack's VPX ZERO CARB protein, but DAMN it so $$$! I wonder if he will show one of his old high school student some love on the price, lol...

Anyways, what would you guys suggest?

And before I get hit by the mods http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i113/devils_mentor/Smileys/suspect-1.gif

With all the utmost respect to Alin and our sponsor, I would love to use the Casein & Whey Protein Isolate and BCAA's, but lets be realistic, I am in the U.S., I am NOT going to pay $44usd -/+ to ship protein. Plus I like the chocolaty goodness that the ON and the like mixes offer :p

Dude, seriously....you don't know what you're talking about.

You're wasting money on crap products. Take the guess work out of it and get SynthePure. I'm not saying this because they're a sponsor. The product is the most pure whey isolate(the one you want) you can find and it's Pharm Grade.

You're ignorant if you think any product line you have listed, or will be mass advertised, is telling any type of truth on the label...They're NOT tested nor controlled by the FDA.

Don't be so hard headed and take the advice for once, DM
True IFBB pros are sponsored by many large companies....But I can say that I've hung out with a few in person on multiple occasions and at least one over 300lb's and ripped the fuck up...I went to his house in another country and what do you know...He's sucking down SynthePure late at night and I'm spitting out my own beer........True story.

lol... dude the only thing on me that is still rock hard IS my head, everything else is soft and pliable ,lol http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i113/devils_mentor/Smileys/blol.gif

Bro, I KNOW that the OTC stuff is nowhere near the quality of what SynthePure offers, I've been around too long to be that blind, or gullible, but 1) I'm not a IFBB Pro - do I really need something so pure, 2) the OTC gets the job done, and 3) I just don't have the $$$ for something like SynthePure, plus $44 for shipping is hard to swallow.

Before my accident and fat, I got up 400+ lbs with generic supplements so i really can't bitch about them, ya feel me Bro. I try to find the best "OTC" supps and do the best I can with them. I would LOVE to use SynthePure products, but I can't justify it.

Here is a simple analogy to show you that I just don't buy without thought... I am building a 425 stroker for my 99 T/A; I could have simply purchased a turn key 427 for $8K, but I was not happy with the internals that were used for the rotating assembly. After researching, I purchased my current setup, which in the end will cost me about $3K+ more than the Turnkey, for example - my crank alone cost $2500 were as the crank in the Turnkey runs about $700. In my head, I can justify the cost because I know the $2500 crank will more than out perform; now coming back to the mix, I know the SynthePure will out perform, but the "OTC" benefits me just fine for my level of need vs. cost. ;)

I hope that made some kind of since, lol, :P

But as always my Bro... Thanks for your insight and help! Let me buy you a beer and a stripper http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i113/devils_mentor/Smileys/drinking-smileys-emoticons30.gif

DM I used to use Syntha-6 mainly because of the taste. I tried a lot of the flavors and they were all good. The taste is delicious!! But yes there is to many carbs per serving. If you are watching carbs you may wanna think about a pure flavor less protein.

I am trying some Gaspari's Myofusion right now and it taste pretty good as well.. 5 carbs 25 protein/per serving. Good luck there is to many to try.

So what your saying is, you are willing to spend $11,000 on a car part to get the best around, but you are not willing to spend an extra $44 on the best food for you body?

Dude, I don't know how you're paying $44 for shipping. I always just have it sent standard shipping for 10 Bucks. Flat rate fee man! What country you in?!
I always get it with in a week and I've had some huge packages ordered for SynthePure, Synthergine, Syntheselem, Synthetine, Training T's etc.

I'm confused....Just go to Synthetek's link here: https://www.synthetek.com/purchase/purchase-usa/

This is what it says and how I've always ordered many, Many times bro: "All orders are shipped within 1 business day of receipt of funds.

7 to 10 days average delivery Air Mail (USPS) with signature confirmation, incurrs a flat fee of US$10 per order."

I've never had one issue bro.

Now that I have finally got on the same page, lol, I will check into those options. ;)

Try Synthepure. I promise you will never want anything else after you try it.
My body responds amazingly well to it.

I dont think I would ever pay 2.00 a serving for 30g WHEY protein,Pharm grade or not. I usually only have 1-2 20g shakes daily, the rest is all from whole eggs or red meat.

Whole clean good foods are great and the best choice. However, you've missed the entire point of the subject here. SynthePure is the best and most pure Whey Isolate ever made. It's a necessary supplement to a BB's diet.

Maybe you should post a picture here to show us how you've met your personal goals(physically)...Maybe you don't want to and that's fine but you are missing out if you are using other products in place of SyntherPure...That, I can guarantee.

Please tell us what "20g shakes" you're using and how often...I just want to compare quantity, quality, and price for myself.

I use ON's gold standard. Like I said before 1-2 servings a day. I started lifting weighing 130lbs, Im now a lean 195. I dont have a recent pic that I can safely post right now. I wanted to put together a before/after that would be internet safe. I have a mac and Im not too savvy with photoshopping. When I figure it out I post it up I aint scurred. Regardless of my build there still going to be someone who will post up a pic of them 250 @ 4%. Im not claiming to be the resident BB'er. I just know for the average "supplement" user I.E. a shake daily daily doesnt need to have a shake that is uber high quality. All in all 98% of your diet should be from real food. So even if that shake Im taking daily is crap, it really wont effect my results.

As requested.....
The before was a picture of me a little over 2 years ago before i started training again, at this time I have been away from the gym for about 6 months. The after is a pic of me today. I have ran 1 solid cycle (test/deca) 400mg/400mg. And one broke cycle of 6 weeks of test/eq 500mg/400mg.
I have been off for 14 weeks+PCT. I understand that my physique is average in this community and I still have a long ways to go, Im not posting this to brag. I am however posting it because I believe I have made solid progress and deserve some respect, and because I was told to put up or shut up! :D

I'd like to be the first to say congrats on the change but it seems other's have already.

You've made a great deal of change in terms of body mass index with the amount of muscle you've put on. I give you props for that man!!!

All I was trying to convey is how much more pure SynthePure is compared to anything you can ever buy in a store or almost anywhere on the internet;)

Once again, good work man!:)

For the others that want to take the guess work out of the bullshit supps...Go with Synthetek and at least get yourself some SynthePure...Trust me.

Thank you very much. It means allot. Im 100% positive that synthetek and the whole product line is top notch in purity and quality, Im not arguing that topic. I am however saying that there are some main stream supplement companies who are decent and will suffice in most cases. If I were to become 100% dedicated to BB'ing my first choice could possibly be synthetek. Hell tyrone, If you want to throw some promo's my way I would love to try some ;)

Not for me...I think I'm opposite of that:(

I think I start consistent cardio/training and diet tonight:o
