About 3 years ago I let myself get really out of shape. I went all the way upto 215 lbs on a 510 frame. Lost it all and got all the way down to 155. Been training for about the past year and a half again and hold study around 185 now. The fact that I did get so overweight makes me worry that I will be prone to gyno when I run my first cycle here shortly. Definetly going to take all the necessary precautions and have AIs on hand to combat it. I have read the sticky on Letro, actually have it saved to a Word document. Just hoping to get some more opinions. Does anyone prefer a specific AI to another? In my case of "being gyno prone?" (if I am?) is there a specific AI that would be better suited to my needs in making sure gyno doesn't develop?

However, WTF is up with your diet that you can go from 215 then drop to 155 then back to 185? You've only been steady for a year ? What are your stats ????? AGE and BF specifically....
I'm still freakn at the 5'10" and 155, that's like crack whore weight...

Ha I figured that would get a question. Diet is in check now. Always been pretty good about it. Work out history Football forever, started minor weightlifting at 14 just in the gym with middle school coaches who didn't know shit. Started lifting hard at 16 mostly power lifts, cleans and jerks got upto 185 by 17, probably in better shape then, than now ha but was doing a lot more cardio and didn't have near the mass I do now. Anyways got into some trouble, parents sent me away, lived with alcoholic godfather, drank all the time with alcoholic godfather from 17 all the way upto 19 when I left for college. Put on massive weight and didn't do a god damn thing except sit around and pound the bottle with him all day and eat just straight junk. Spent entire freshman year of college on ephedrine and an hour on the elliptical in the rec 5 days a week. Dropped from 215 back to around 185, then spent 19-20 running all the time and lifting 3x a week. Got stupid skinny was just on a hell bound mission to be a pencil after letting myself blow up. And then got a new girlfriend, took a year off, then started back again and am now back to my 185 area again now. Actually 192. Diet is in decent check, but still eat junk after going out drinking with my buddies. Have recently got the drinking in check, and so the diet is stricter and seeing some good results in the gym. Really starting to see the leaning out I want but gonna incorporate some HIIT training in 3x a week soon. Basically don't do any cardio now except for walking a couple miles a day around school and a 10 minute warm up at the gym.
Almost 23 now and approximately 18% body fat would be my guess. Have the option to get it tested at work by passing an electrical current through the body but can only do it once for free so have been holding off until I lean out a little more.

You need to stay away from AAS at your age and weight. You do realize that these meds can screw you up for the rest of your life....both physically and mentally if you abuse these meds. I suggest just workout and do it naturally and enjoy your life the next few years.

Friendly word of advice from my experience: Don't use any form of test if your 15% or over. If your at 18% right now, it's just gonna make you bigger and not in a good way. I think most of the bro's on here will give that same response.

Check you out, giving good advice instead of arguing about it:cool:

If your already gyno prone,,and have had symptoms in the past, I would go with the LETROZOLE. ARIMIDEX will work as well,,,but Ive seen people with pre-existing problems do better with the LETRO.

Thank you Alin! Thats fucking awesome you took the time to respond to a guy like me with only a handful of posts. Greatly appreciated and I also appreciate the other senior members who are giving their input as well.

Letro at low dosage ed or eod is very effective.
I was starting at .25 eod, went up to .25 ed and then back dwon again.
There is a long post I can cut and paste for you if you would like to see it. It is very good at stopping aromatase from converting to estrogen and at higher bf you have a lot of aromatase in fat.
The only negative can be its effect on lipid levels. However, if you run it properly, you ramp up 2 weeks prior to your cycle to get your blood levels even, then taper it down at the end of your cycle to end the day you start PCT. Using nolva in PCT will help with the estrogen rebound, but also has been shown to have a positive effect on lipid levels.

FYI, nolva will cause rebound as well.
