well, i lookin for some solid, no shit advice. anyone with experience in this issue. thank you.
rbc's = 6.70 versus the max recommended range of 5.60
hemoglobin = 19.9 versus max of 17.0
hematocrit = 60.8 versus max of 50.0
rdw = 16.9 versus max at 15.0
iron = 190 versus max range of 150
calcuim - 10.5 versus max of 10.0
creatine at 1.51 versus max of 1.27
eGFR at 50 versus minimum low of 59
i'm white, caucasian
looking back over my blood test records, my creatine was at 1.30 in august of 08. everything else was in range, granted at the high end of recommended, but still within range.
i've been off of a long cycle for 2 months now.
what i'm looking for is: drug therapies for the rbc, hematocrit, and hemoglobin issue. are there any? what is you knowledge/opinion based upon?
eGFR issues? what's up with the iron an and creatine? i don't even use creatine.
i was gonna cycle again, but now i think not. i have to get these values back in line.
i feel fine, as far as i can tell.
that 60.8 hematocrit can't be good, along with the rbc and hemoglobin.....????? !!!!!!!!!!
i'm pretty active, lawn care by trade, recreational sports, etc....
cholesterol, and all that fine. 170's
no other abnormal readings, i kept my records. this is the first real elevated readings.
how alarmed should i be?
no health insurance, can't afford it. so, i must figure this out on my own.
so, please i need some educated and experience input.
much appreciate your efforts. seeker.

so........ here's what i'm gonna do. take tyler's liver detox for 30 days, give blood 3 or 4 times, once a week, drink lotsa water, take some EDTA, retest. thinking about adding a low dose of coumadin, .25 or .5 mg a day for 2 weeks, but i'm iffy on that with the blood donation. hoping this thins my gravy so to say. i'll post the info for shits and giggles. i was hoping someone had some info on retarding rbc production. and, i've stopped taking daily vitamin.
i had gotten pretty cocky and comfortable on my pct's over the years, and boom, lookie what developed. well, back to the lab dr. frankenstien...............

Do not take coumadin. Are you crazy? Just go donate blood. Creatinine (not creatine the supp) is a protein that comes from muscle breakdown and is cleared by the kidneys. We use this lab as an indicator of kidney function (among others). When the value is elevated, it tells us that the kidneys arent clearing the protein normally and something is amiss. It could be pre-renal, renal or post-renal. I am gonna assume that it is pre-renal in your case but you should see a doctor to make sure and to verify that it goes down. The most common cause of pre-renal azotemia (acute renal insufficiency) is intravascular volume depletion...but it can be caused by your erythrocytosis(low plasma volume) and hard workouts. Go give a couple units of blood and drink a lot of water over the next couple weeks and get rechecked. All of those values are elevated due to bone marrow stimulation by your AAS...but there are many other things that can cause these findings...including hepatoma.

thank you for your response, considering i'm in the wrong fourm. i thought it'd get more looks. my apologies. crazy? not clinically, but...... anywho, after i got over the initial panic/shock of blood work that i had gotten accustomed to being just right whether off or on cycle, a search and surf for info, i guess that was a little obsessive about the coumadin. i'm curious as to whether anyone does coumadin from time to time, like .25mg for 7/10/14 days for maintainence? or if it's just a desperate measure type drug?
from surfing, i did come to the conclusion i do need to "thin the gravy" some. i had forgotten about the creatine/creatinine difference. thank you. yeah, those of us who lift, and lead pretty active/physical work/lifestlye scenarios will had that evelvated. that must've been why i thought the tyler's would help. i've had good luck with that. my bod does seem to respond it, and i hadn't used it in quite a while. once again, being laxed in what i've found to work for me.
curiously, blood donations really do help, eh? are you experienced with it? gotten any equilibration, verified by blood testing?
thanks again! peace to all.

AAS like testosterone and equipoise will stimulate the bone marrow to produce more red blood cells which will increase your hematocrit. This happens worse the older you get. I have been on TRT for years and give blood every 6mos to keep my levels normal. There are other things that can cause your lab findings...like certain blood disorders. You need to see your doctor or a hematologist if it continues even after stopping AAS.

What was your BUN? What was your blood pressure like? I would attribute everything to polycythemia. Go give blood. I wouldn't play with coumadin (coumadin being the preferred pharmacologic therapy), rather 81mg of aspirin daily for the time being. Try not to cross your legs too much or become sedentary, you do have the potential for thromboemboli. Be sure to maintain your hydration to at least 3000mL a day so your blood does not become concentrated; which further pontentiates your risk of developing thrombi.
Welcome back old friend! Not you, him.

thanks again for taking a look, and some time to respond, much appreciated. the hemocrit came down some, to 51. as a matter of fact, everything came down about 10%, and the questionable levels are are right at the high end of the 'safe' ranges, so i feel better about that. i'm cycling right now, and will test again post cycle. got about 3 weeks left, then pct, then test again. doing a little test, deca, winny cycle. using a generic 'trilipix' for cholesterol, and 5 mgs of a bp med during cycle, and a little fish oil with a lipase, and liv52. got my pct's . once again thank you.
