Any of you guys ever use this supplement and is it worth trying out if you have shoulder pain (rotator cuff tendonitis)? I take glucosamine and bromelain already, seems to help with the elbow tendonitis but not the rotator cuff so much especially when benching. Thanx.

Sounds like your ac joint at the top of tour shoulder. I have the same problem with both shoulders. I get yearly anti inflamatory steroid injections to get rid of the pain. It works wonders. And someday surgery may be in your future to clean up the joint. Avoid heavy bench press to help also. It's the worst excercise for that joint.

Dudcki is right, probably not what you want to hear, but if it hurts don't do it. Train around the injury, I can't flat bench but I do dumbell incline, decline and various forms of fly's.

That's exactly what I do. I haven't done flat bench on over a year but can still do BB incline pretty heavy with no pain. You just have to test it to see if it hurts.

Invrt, why can't you flat bench?....I hear of a lot of shoulder problems because of the bench. It's my worst excercise......never was a good bench presser. I've had shoulder, elbow and pec problems. Working through a pec strain from a few weeks ago now with lighter weight and high reps.

I broke my neck a few years ago and if I flat bench, I push with the back of my head and can't move my head for a week or so. I've also torn the rotator cuff a loooooong time ago and have some arthritis:mad:

The most common problem with bodybuilders and shoulder problems is Bursitis...Try some cortisone injections like Dudcki mentioned...

Cortisone shots when used correctly can be very effective. I had a foot that pained me for years. A series of 3 shots and the pain was gone forever, that was a few yrs ago too.

I have an AC injury on my left shoulder. I use USP Super Cissus (800mg Cissus Quadrangularis per cap) It worked wonders for me. but you have to load about 14 pills the first day and 6 per day for a week. Then 3 per day maintence. I would try it. Still get some pain during heavy lifts but daily activity is much eaiser.
