Guys,
I'll be starting a bulking cycle shortly, but need a little input. I'm trying to put on some weight/muscle but at the same time want to get some good ab definition.
I have a skinny build, 155lbs, 5'11, but have a layer of fat across my stomach. I haven't been doing cardio as I've been attempting to bulk, but my question is this:
On a bulking cycle, can I add cardio (30 mins on days I'm not weight training) to my regime, or will I end up forfeiting any gains? I want to put on about 10-15lbs, preferrably in some good muscle mass, but at the same time want to try and keep body fat limited so I can get my abs showing. Any tips?
Thanks.

You need to give more info(stats) and work out exp. Sound like it might be hard for you to put on weight. If so then limit cardio to 2 times a week and eat a lot. Also do weighted ab excersises.

Tyrone, here's my current regime:
3 days week, full work out, varying intensities and reps. Monday is heavy, low rep, wed high rep, low weight, friday med weight, med reps. This routine seems to work well for me as far as strength gains, I was originally just doing heavy reps but hit a wall.
Been working out since Jan of this year, last year was just doing cardio (running) but I decided I want to put on some muscle.
As far as diet is concerned, consuming 3000+ calories per day with weight gainer shakes, high protein diet.
Hope that clarifies.
Thanks.
You should be able to do cadio 3x per week. Keep the sessions short but intense (intervals). Example: 5 min warm up at low intensity
Round One 1 min high intensity
2 min moderate intensity
Repeat for two more rounds
5 min cool down.
Follow this for 3 weeks before adding more rounds.
I use this as well as clients of mine and it works very well at keeping fat off and it should not hinder gains in strength or muscle growth.

Thanks for the tip lomu. I'll probably jog in the mornings, can I apply it to that?
