I have very small calves and the rest of me is big. I want to inject my sus into my calves, hoping I will gain some size in them. I already train the shit out of them and I am hoping thiis will help. Is it safe? will I still get Maximum absorbtion of my anabolics.

Dude maybe you train calves too much, I don't know. Do it big first and then push reps. A lot of peep's have trouble wIth calves, but not me. I played soccer all my life and mine are big for mE. dO EM BIG, THEN EAT AND REST. :cool:

Spot injections don't work. Calves are one of those "either you got 'em or you don't" bodyparts. You can always improve them though. i always did better with higher reps (15-20), not too many sets (no more than 3 exercises for a total of like 8 -10 sets). Train them like twice a week. Sometimes I trained calves 3 times a week, but with shorter workouts (less sets). try to get good quality contraction during your sets and stretch in between.

Agreed, and sometimes hold the contraction at diff. points in the flex especially at the top. Don't foget to try a spring off the toe type of work out.

Be sure to stretch your calves alot, alot of peoples muscles dont grow because they dont stretch them enough, I would recommend hitting them at least 2-3 times a week as JMP888 stated as well. And to answer your question no spot injecting sustanon will not make your calves bigger.
p.s.
Steve Reeves recommened whenever you push up onto your calves to twist your heels outward and push up onto your main 2 toes... it always worked for me, helps get the outstide alot as well which was the stubborn area of my calves for me.

Besides genetics, I think my calves got bigger by explosive movements like up hill sprints and jumping over higher objects like people. You don't think you can do it but then you realize the brain shuts down before the body. I guess it is like anything else.

Tyrone makes a great point with exercises that "spring off the toe. Years ago, I bought a pair of those "strength shoes". They were basically a tennis shoe with a platform built under the front of your foot (anyone ever try them?). I would do spring type exercises with them. They would leave my calves crippled! I'd say they definately helped.

Did you start with midgets and work your way up, or were you just jumping regular people in the beginning?

No seriously. I played soccer and was very athletic from a young age. I had a great trainner that had us jumping over a team mate at first with his legs shoulder length apart and head down. The it progressed to standing straight up and depending on height head up or down. Some got it in the back of the head. :D There's a new def. for bangin heads. But really, it made it possible to get much higher than the other team on headers for corners or what have you.

I miss my vert... when I was 175lbs I had 5 3/4 feet of vert in my jump, I was one of the only white guys who could slam... and I was only 5'11 and yes I could jump over people as well... now im too heavy, I can still touch the rim... cant slam anymore. YET!

I asked the very same question for the exact same reason....and i'll give you the same very sound advise that was given to me DON'T DO IT YOU WILL BE SORRY. I have made alot of improvement in my calf size just by listening and learning. Train smart, that dosen't mean just train. Learn about the make up of your calf muscles what they do how they work. And there is a lot to be said about Tyrone and running sports. I mean look at the calf development on some of the soccer players at the world cup. If they don't have a muscle in there body there calfs are big and very well shaped. So try to do it the olf fashioned way first...............WORK OF THEM. Oh and bye the way after doing more research on the subject I took the advise I was given.

I train my calves one week "on", one "off".
On "on week" I train them on monday, tuesday, [wednesday (off)], thursday and friday with the same exercice (I change the exercice each "on week").
I do 4 sets of 15 reps. I do my sets with an huge mental focus to improve the pump and I have good results like that.

of my muscles. ive been thinking about trying some site injection
oil synthrol . i dont know how effective it would be.

Synthrol is increadibly effective is used properly, How much do you stretch your calves though and how often do you hit them? They get worked alot so adding size to them is hard, I hit mine 4 days a week and stretch them really hard each time, it helps alot.

Unless your competing and trying to add the finishing touches synthol shouldnt be used.

I hit mine 4 days a week and stretch them really hard each time, it helps alot.

The streching has really seemed to work for me. My calves are very high on my leg in comparison with my ankle and they have always been very difficult in shaping. My brother swore that streching very hard would help them grow. It worked for me very nicely. They aren't where I'd like them to be yet but I hit them hard and stretch the crap out of them everyday.

Exactly, if the muscle's facia isnt stretch it wont grow, theres no room too, the more you stretch your muscles the bigger they can become, some people just lift and get stuck at a certain point, I stretch and flex in between sets, seems to always have worked for me.

I like flexing in between sets, it really rushes the blood into there... Arnold Recommended it and he was one of the best of the golden era so I trust him.
