Ok, so i've been shooting prop with a 23 gauge needle and the following day after a shot the injection site is sore as hell. I ran out of 23 gauge and got 27 gauge and i shoot in the same areas and no pain. Can anybody tell me as to why this may be? Thanks a lot guys.

Less trauma to the muscle from the smaller pin.If you move the pin around to much during the injection that will also clause added pain the next day or two.

I switch back and forth from 23g to 25g and there is really no difference for me except it's a bit quicker with 23g. For the most part I try to keep 25g 1" for upper body and 23g 1.5" for glutes. There are other factors but as far as the pin, I don't notice a difference. You might just be injecting slower with the 27. Try really slow with the 23 but if you can use a 27g with no problem...stick to that.

yea if the 27 is working good just keep it, its definetly because your injecting it slower, the slower you plunge less chance of pain.

Can you get your stuff to pass through a 27 g? If so,,,definitely user the finer gauge.

Yeah, drawing it through the 27 takes a minute or two its a 5 ml so there is extra room over the 3 ml for drawing pressure. Thanks for the response guys. Using prop with the 25 was the worst thing ever. I love prop now that i can inject without any pain.
Word up and keep it real.

always draw with a big needle... takes too long to draw with a small one, and dont inject with the one you drew with.. duhhh...
