Insulin,
I have stuided and used insulin quite a bit. Here is what I have found from talking to people, studying, and most importantly my own experience:
1. I use Humulin-R. Not just because it is cheaper and easier to get. Humalog seems a bit TOO quick acting. I space my insulin shots out over 6 hours and I like that humulin-R acts just a bit longer than humalog. Plus I got better resutls on it.
2. When I used inuslin ED post workout or worse 2x day, I gained a lot of fat and starting having to take a large amount to get anything. Chad Nicholls, Ronnie Coleman's guru among others, recommends insulin no more than 2X a week MAX with at least 2 days in between the days you use it. He recommends using on the days you do use it 3x. He doesn't go into dosages but I usually use around 10iu at a time. Use it everday and all that will happen is your body will get pissed off and start to resist the insulin. By using it only once or twice a week you are keeping your bodies insulin sensitivity high and not overloading it.
That is how people get type two diabietes generally. Ever notice they are usually quite overweight? That is because these fatasses stuff their face with so many high GI carbs all the time for years at a time that their insulin is always being spiked constatly. Their body eventually gets pissed and starts becomming more and more insulin resistant eventually to the point where their body can't even produce enough insulin anymore to move the sugar and amino
acids into their muscle cells. That is why they get wounds that don't heal, their body can hardly move amino acids into the cells anymore because their body is telling the insulin what it can do with itself. Insulin resistance happens much faster with artificial insulin overload in a healthy person.
Picture insulin like this: Insulin is a friend that comes knocking on the cell doors saying, hey I have glycogen and amino acids out here open up and take them in. Your cells hear him knocking and open the door to take his product in. However if he keeps comming around too often, your cells don't want to get off the couch again to open the door and ignore his knocking. The body responds by making more insulin to knock on the door even harder to get the cells to open up. Eventually the cells become so annoyed the body can't produce enough insulin to knock hard enough to let the goods in.
So don't use it ED after a workout like a lot of people do. Pick 1 or two days a week to use it and saturate your cells with nutrients and then lay off and let the bodies sensitivity return. You will get much better results and a lot less fat that way. I am dieting right now for a show so I use it every Wednesday "Leg day" to carb up as the rest of the week I only eat low glycemic carbs after my morining cardio and evening workout/cardio, so by Wed my body is very insulin sensitive and sucks the nutrients in which keeps me from going catabolic on my diet and I don't store fat as my insulin sensitiviy is very high and my muscles need all of it.
Last rule? Don't way overdo the carbs. Keep some around always, like orange/grape soda in case of emergency. I always use a combo of HIGH/LOW GI carbs with my insulin.
Good luck and remember start off slow, insulin is nothing to mess with and BTW, yes use it only with gear. Without gear it will probably do nothing but make you fat.

Thank you,
Can I use it with Dbol or Turinabol?
