i am currently on my first cycle ever, and everyone tells me to eat a lot, but im wondering what a lot is. also, i work nights and it is often hard for me to eat "clean" all the time, so is it better to eat a lot or to eat good when it is almost impossible to do both. i bring food with me to work, but i work 12 hour shifts and there is only so much room in an ambulance. . . hardly enough for a buffet :D . any suggestions?

Hey Ace, I have the opposite problem...I am in a kitchen, and there is just so much food!!!! I have found the best way to do it for me is to use little tupperware containers..I make up my six or seven meals - pack em for the day - all weighed, and it gives me some time to plan each meal.....I am battling to eat this much - and I am on a DIET cycle!
But then I do sweat like a m'phucker when I see the foie gras on a plate, delicious rich sauces and desserts.......

i used to work 12 hour shifts so i know what your saying. besides the food that you bring i would get a big ziploc bag and dump a good ammount of protein in there with the scoop. get a water bottle or something that has a lid that will screw on or shut and if you cant eat a meal every few hours then try to make sure and get a protein drink in

well im already drinking a protein drink right when i get off in the morning, and one in the afternoon after my workout before i go to work. i heard that too much protein will hurt your kidneys as far as with filtration through them so it kind of scares me to drink too many of the protein shakes. also is it better on a bulk cycle if you cant eat clean all the time to just eat, or should i keep it as clean as possible?

i used to work nights, tues-fri 10 hour shifts. it was very hard to maintain a perfect diet, so i had to settle on just keepin it halfway clean. fast food is not always bad as long as you stay away from french fries and the soda and such. especially when on a bulking cycle, it may not be the healthiest alternative but then again a lot of what we put our bodies through isn't. i had to start bringing a shaker and a container full of protein and i'd eat, then 2 hours later a protein shake, then eat, then 2 hours later protein shake and so on. i take in a lot of protein shakes daily and havent had any problems with my kindeys or liver or what not. just drink plenty of water.

Too much protein, be it from shakes or whole food can be hard on your kidney’s, that's why your H2O intake is so important. Keep your water intake high and you should be fine.
As far as eating clean or eating junk, that's up to you. You can eat clean and put on size, don't let anyone tell you different...you just have to eat a lot of it. If you eat relatively clean then you will put on less fat and you will look and feel better, not to mention it is just simply healthier. A lot of guys can get away with eating a lot of junk food while bulking and not put on that much fat, I'm not one of those guys. But I'd bet you if the ones that eat junk and have good results, that they would have even better results if they ate a little cleaner.

I'm a summer student with a job, and my schedule leaves me with no time to eat how I want. I work 8-5pm, 5-8pm class, 8-9pm gym, then come home and do homework and make food for the next day. I pack up a few tupperware containers of chicken/rice/fish/pasta/veggies etc. and I make two protein shakes to have throughout the day. Overall I have 4/5 meals and 3 protein shakes a day. I'm bulking with Test-E and Dbol so I make sure to have about 2gallons of water as well. I take 10mins here and there in the day to scarf down some food, trust me, it can be done. ;)
When bulking you NEED to eat a lot, so if you can't go healthy, don't worry too much about it. That's not to say go get 3 BigMac's everyday, but going to subway or getting the grilled chicken can still be okay. You'll put on a bit of fat, but it's either that or no size at all. Your call.

cool thats what i wanted to know. i work at night from 7p to7a, and im bulking with dbol and testE. i get off at 7, go home drink a protein drink and go to bed. i wake up and eat someting here(chicken, veggies, salad, etc) then i work out about an hour later . when i finish my workout i come home and drink a protein drink and get ready for work. i typically bring one meal with me during the night, after that ill go to mcdonalds, but all ive been eating is the fish, and sometimes the grilled chicken about every 2 or three hours ill have 2 or 3 of those. ive never had a problem getting rid of fat, and im going to run winny for the last 4 weeks of my cycle to clean up and cut up a little. does anybody else have any suggestions that may help me out?

if you do need to go with fast food, mcdonalds is still not too healthy. i'd try to stick with subway, harvey's, even wendy's grilled chicken. just google fast food nutritional facts and find out what's best. Trust me, it's worth it so you have a good diet and don't put on too much fat.
You may want to try spending your sunday night cooking meals for that week. It'll save you some serious money, and you can put a wack of meals into containers. I make a shit load of pasta, perogies, fish, chicken, and rice and just fill the lower part of my fridge. I still make 2-3meals at home, but the rest i take to work/class.
