Damn bro! Sorry to hear that, I've seen soooo many accidents now due to stupidity that it is not even funny...
I hope that everything works out and that she comes out of this with no lasting damages (You're daughter?). I am unsure of the laws there, but here it is SOP for the hospital staff to draw blood to check for intoxicants, especially when there are multiple (2+) people involved in the accident where the driver of the vehicle causing the crash injured an innocent victim, not to mention the circumstances surrounding the actual crash itself.

Thanks man, much appreciated. Not my daughter, Simone is my wife. Sorry, she doesn't post much over here yet, but everyone over there knows who she is. Anyway, much appreciated man. Trying to keep my cool.

Sorry bro, I should have looked more carefully. Either way, it's a terrible thing to hear regardless of who it is. I sure hope that her recovery is as fast and painless as possible.
If they do find some form of intoxicants in her blood I hope that you nail her to the wall (in court!) for what she has done!

Sorry to hear about your wife man, it's always worse when somethin like that happens to a loved one rather than yourself. my wife recently had surgery to remove a vein in her leg, and ever since both her thighs are numb and tingly and shoot sharp pains down her legs where she can't hardly walk, this all after the staff infection she got. basically the surgeon fucked up and won't admit it so we got a lawsuit goin on. she spent like a month in the hospital and i had to resist puttin someones head through the floor. hope your wife gets to feelin better and that stupid bitch that hit her gets what shes got comin for not payin attention while driving. big props for not losin your cool man.

Geezie-pete's... been gone for while and this is one of the first posts I read. So sorry about that.

If you guys haven't experienced this before... don't let the insurance companies screw you around. I've been in two accidents that weren't my fault. Both times the insurance companies acted like my suffering was to be expected and could give a shit less. My attorney saw that differently.

Don't let them push you to a settlement too fast either.

Tell Simone I'm thinkin' about her and hope you both make it through without having to hurt someone else!!

I'm very sorry to hear that. I know that I speak for everyone here when I say that our hearts and prayers go out to you and your wife. I hope she recovers very quickly and without any permenant damage. The same thing almost happened to me about 5 weeks ago. I had my wife, 3 yr old son, and 21 month old daughter in our mini-van. I was lucky that the woman swerved at the last second and went off the road. I don't know what I would have done. I know how hard it is to keep you temper in check, especially in a situation like that. Good job. It shows that you have not only control, but character as well!
