3grams would be nice, but make sure your getting your 2grams of protein first IMO. (not saying to eat all of your protein in the morning then carbs afterwards but when your writing out your diet make sure you get all of your protein in, then start adding in the carbs)

3-4 grams of good foods not junk and soda.

here is the diet i stick to when bulking-
5000 cals
600g carbs
400g pro
100-120g fat - less than 25g is saturated fat
70g fiber
this diet got me up to a NATURAL 225lbs bf% around 9 or 11 %

i consumed 9 meals a day- about 150-200grams of the protein came from whey isolate powder and casein shake at night the rest of the pro came from eating 1lb of sirloin evry day 3-4cans of tuna 20 eggs a day half a gallon of milk and so on...
my sugar intake was under 200g a day - 100g of dextrose after workout other 100 from milk rest of the carbs from grape nuts cereal, whole wheat bread, and one can of kidney beans every day, and some fruit and yogurt
fat from the 10 whole eggs the other 10 eggs i ate were just the whites, lots of nuts, half a jar of natural peanut butter a day, flax oil

i doubt i will do this diet again the results were staggering strength and lean mass gains like crazy, but too much dedication to eating now i am military so i can't eat 9 meals a day

i can gain 15-20lbs in just a few months by following this diet---body fat increase very minimal

if you weigh at LEAST 190lbs and want to get to 225lbs follow this diet
