Ok, I drive 100 miles every morning to school and need coffee to wake me up for the crazy traffic. I dont want the added blood sugar to store my breakfast as fat, and I know I need protein with every meal, right? So, my question is, can I still eat something with the coffee? I have been making an egg sandwich on wheat in the morning. Ok to add cheese? I'd like to cut weight and my breakfast seems to be my bad area sometimes. thanks alot

ive been drinking metrx for breakfast every morning for the last 13 years, i wouldnt change it for nothing, all 5 of my kids drink it every morning too, i dont know if there are any other quality meal replacement drinks out there and i dont care to know, but they are the way to go

Yes, they are my favorite also. If you wanted to add just some low calorie EXCELLENT protein try a tub of Synthetek.com's SynthePURE. That stuff is awesome if you don't want the added calories of a meal replacement shake like MetRx. But yeah man MetRx is definitely good stuff.

im an AM workout guy so usually ill wake up and have a protein drink then workout 30-45 minutes later. I havent found that im hindering gains by not eating a meal beforehand

i always drink coffee first, then my metrx, then i brush my teeth, i hate it when i brush my teeth then drink metrx, it ruins the taste

Bro when I pull my 24hr shifts....check this out, take your fav protein drink or meal replacement MetRX, EAS etc. Mix it with instant coffee, now you have you protein with the CAFFEINE!!! Actually I use this more than just my long shifts it is pretty much my morning thing. :D :eek:

Man I think you can eat just about whatever you want during the morning(depending on your matabalism). Because just about anyhting you eat in the am is going to be WAY out of your system by night time. So you won't have to worry about it turning into fat. So if your going to cheat on your diet, do it in the morning and you should be ABSOLUTELY fine.

Try a whole grain cereal (unsweetened) with fat free milk and a couple of scoops of protien. It works well for me.
