HEY GUYS,
As some guys probably do, I struggle with talking in the 300 grams of protein I try to shoot for every day. I live on a very clean, protein packed diet. I truly hate protein shakes and it sucks. I’ve tried all brands and flavors and at first I like them, then after a period of time I just get SICK of them to the point it almost literally makes me want to puke every time I shove one down my throat. That is something I just have to deal with personally.
But the reason for my post today is I’ve been wondering if there are protein pills out there? I mean these days it seems there is a pill for everything! How awesome would it be if I could just take three 100gram protein pills a day and be done with it? I’m not sure how stupid a question this is, and I might get reamed for it, but I need to know so I’m prepared for the repercussions. I’m thinking that there is something like that our bodies couldn’t synthesis the protein if it were in pill form but once again, I don’t know. If there are protein pills out there, where the hell can I buy them and how effective are they? Also if anyone knows of a good site with non-baller budget friendly protein packed diets, please share. I know there are a million diets on sites out there, but I’m looking for ones that actually break down price and nutritional value item by item. Maybe I can only find that and protein pills on the non-existent magical website lol. But I at least gotta ask the pros ;)

Yeah they have protien pills but they are quite expensive. They are
pretty big chewable pills that only contain 4 grams of protien and they taste like shit. I got some sent to me in error and they suck, nasty. I think I got them from www.vitacost.com or www.supplementwarehouse.com or it may have been www.bodybuilding.com good luck if you get some.

i haven't heard of such a thing and if there is then you would most likely be swallowing pills all day.
You want a diet.. well you could buy a book with all the calorie counts and weight and portion your foods.. as for getting enough protien. i consume around 270g a day and my diet consists of this
1 egg yolk 9 whites scramble (roughly 40g pro)
(When i have chicken i throw chicken in my eggs bumps 15g pro)
oatmeal and blueberries (roughly 5g pro)
Glutamine (5g)
post workout shake (50g)
waxy maize
turkey rolls (30g pro)
3 rice cakes (3g pro)
Tuna 7 oz (37g pro)
1 rice cake (1g pro)
Mahi mahi and shrimp (60g pro)
Glutamine (5g pro)
Veggies
Cottage cheese (27g pro) now i take 50g casienate at night. because im precontest and cutting out dairy.
Do the work do the research. if your looking for shortcuts in the end you will shortcut yourself.

Thanks for the Info. ya i figured that if there were protein pills out there they prolly sucked. I know its kinda the easy road, but still it'd be nice. Yeah 4g's for every nasty ass pill is not what im looking for. I also had no idea Mahi mahi had soo much protein! Ill hit that up for sure. Thanks again

Weider used to make some. You had to take a handful of them though just to get in some low quality protein. Try spicing your protein drinks up with some flavoring like vanilla,,cinnamon,,etc..also try add for protein to your diet thru beef,fish,chicken,eggs.

i hate people that cant eat and say 300g of protein is hard to do.... stop being a pussy, do i need to plan shit out for you? make egg smoothies damn it. I dont understand how people can say 300g of protein is hard... in one of my shakes there is 100g of protein!! 8oz chicken 5 eggs 1 scoop waxymaze 1 tblspoon olive oil ice cubes 1 cup of rice and a scoop of your favorite protein powder.... blend and enjoy. there is NO EXCUSE for not getting in the protein you need.
If your stomache cant handle the protein that sucks. your question was very stupid, take 100g worth of protein powder and put it into capoles, these are your protein pills... they cant make protein smaller so you can take tiny little pills....
chicken and meat are so fucking cheap from costco there are NO EXCUSES... 1 gallon of milk is 150g protein... drink a gallon a day ontop of your normal diet if you must.

amino acid pills are basically protein pills just take a few hundred a day and youll be set.

Try milk, eggs, oatmeal, chocolate nesquick powder, peanut butter, and a couple bananas. You gotta blend the crap out of it to get the oatmeal to liquify enough but it's pretty good and it's loaded with protein and calories.

ya i get the larger 8 oz portions at costco. that combined with 5oz shrimp can get you a good amount of protien and keep you satisfied by being full...
dont mind superbeast hes a cool guy.. We just get jelious to see people taking shortcuts when we have to choke down tuna and pro shakes to make our daily quotas... there is no easy way is what hes trying to say.. its tough but the rewards are great.. keep it up my man. the best thing is when you do we can all relate BUT! if you try to shortcut you will get cold shoulder.. which is kind of ironic because steroid use in general is a shortcut.. but it shouldn't be demeaned by the majority because we do work out harder than most and stick to diet and eat more than most. we have already excepted the concequences and so far the rewards outweigh the risk. just have to be smart about it and hope for the best... glad we can help. like im sure naturals are jelious of us. but without sacrifice you cant obtain greatness. but greatness is an illusion.. and so on into the rabbit hole we go.

Being a prick makes me both cooler, stronger, and it makes my dick bigger do. Does being a pussy that cant eat make you bigger? NO. Your just butthurt that you couldnt figure out that protein powder is exactly what theyd put in the pills and therefore you couldnt take 3 tiny pills a day.
Also, 300g protein, but what about your carbs and fats bro?

Agreed this forum does need a diet subforum. diet and nutrition questions comes up very often.
anyway when i started lifting weights in the 70s there were protein pills that tastesd like baby powder.I hated them but there was a liquid protein that tsted like cherries that was pretty damn good. you had to take 6 tbl spoons to get 18 grams of protein. I loved the stuff.
well some dude got cancer and the media got ahold of it and even though there was no proof this stuff caused it the media pounded on it every day for about 6 months and they took it off the market. oh well leave it up to the media to get it wrong even in the 70s

Anyway one tip that I can give you is to blend your food,things like tuna or cottage cheese just blend it up with some water and drink it,it's alot easyer to drink food than it is to eat it.
Plus it digests quicker so after an hour and half your feeling hungary again.
I've gained a stone in the last 3 weeks just by increasing my protien intake,with no aas...
