Just starting back after a 1.5 year layoff due to 3 herniated disks in my neck that required surgery. Pre surgery I was 5' 11" 230 11% BF (was running test e 500mg/week with tren 200mg eod. Now I'm 211 and 18% BF and just getting my 3rd week underway in the gym (sore as fuck). My question to you guys is how long should I wait to get back on the gear since this is the longest I have been away from the gym since, well, when I started lifting when I was 16. 31 years old and I need some good feedback because I am in probably the worst shape of my life. Thanks again!!!

I would say 6 months so you get that BF down to atleast 13-14%.
Make sure your diet/training are in check for that 6 months before you incorporate AAS.

Thanks D! Diet is going to be the toughest part. It's amazing how quickly your diet can go to shit after a surgery. Pretty much ate whatever I wanted, when I wanted, with plenty of alcohol. My wife said WTF happened to the old you and that pretty much set me off to get back into tip top shape.

Its happened to most of us bro.
Get that diet/training in check for awhile, you'll be surprised how much weight/strength will increase just with a correct diet and training regimine. Goodluck

Bump DTown... consider that your vacation from training... get into your diet and training... get the outline of your abs back.. then kick into high "gear" lol

yea i have 3 heniated discs in my neck also and 1 in my lower back. i was slated for surgery but opted out of it, due to the fact i found a ciropractor that said he could help. and he did, he works with tons of pro football players and mma fighters. i had lost all muscle control on my whole left side. it was bad.
all i can tell you now is be very careful lifting. form will be everything for you,as it is for me. if something is inflaming that area stay away from that exercise. i find when im on cycle i just want to lift like crazy, but be careful like i said its so easy to re-injury. but i do like being on cycle cause it keeps everything tight in my neck area. when im off things really start to hurt.
good luck with it bro
