What happens if you think your gear may have been contaminated during transfer to a sterile vile?
If you have that fear what do you do...just toss it?
Is there anyway to "re-sterilize" gear that you may think is questionable.
It's just something I thought of while reading some of these post on Stealth.

Well it all depends on what type of contamination we are talking about here?
For the most part if you have any concerns, get a new sterile vial, 20 ml syringe, a .45mircon Whatman filter, and some BA (Benzyl Alcohol), and some sterile oil such as MCT, Grapeseed, Cottonseed, ect. NO Peanut oil however, if you have a nut allergy and you use peanut oil you WILL die.
What you do is: 1. Draw up all of the "contaminated" oil into the syringe.
2. Place a pin (no rig attached) into the rubber stopper of you're sterile vial (only part way down as you only need it to act as a vent to equalize the pressure inside the vial).
3. push you're contaminated oil through the Whatman filter into the sterile vial.
4. Once you have filtered all of the oil and have it transfered into the new sterile vial draw up about 1.5-2cc of the sterile oil into the syringe (without the filter attached).
5. Re-attach the filter and then filter this sterile oil into the same vial as your "clean" gear. (the reason for this is that the filter will hold onto roughly 1.5-2cc of your oil containing whatever compound. This is not necessary but if you skip this step you will loose a few cc of product).
6. Using a new syringe (3cc will be fine) draw up aprox .25-.5 ml of the BA and inject it into the "clean" product in the vial.
There you have it, no worries. This is based on 10-15 ml of product, if more just add a touch more BA as needed.
Another tip while filtering is to heat the oil first as it is very hard to push the oil through the Whatman filter. Also you have to be VERY careful while filtering that you do not push too hard or you will blow out the filters membrane and then you will have to repeat the entire procedure again.
This actually sounds much harder than it is aswell...
Hope that this helps you.
Good luck bro.

If you are not confident about sterility of your gear you can do one of these three things:
- Filter it through a .45 whatman filter (or even .22 one)
- Filter it through a .45 whatman filter (or even .22 one) AND add to your gear .5%-.9% BA.
- Throw it away :D

Run it thru a whatman filter back into a sterile vial.
