I am worried about one particular side effect of anabolics known as a "Roid Gut". I cannot find any medical info on it, so I do not know what the mechanism is that causes it or steps to take to avoid it. I have been experiencing some bloating lately especially in my upper abdomen that causes it to protrude somewhat. However it comes and goes. I have very little body fat, so cannot attribute it to that. Any info on this subject would be very much welcome and aqppeciated.

I don't know what the heck you are taking but couldn't it just be the bloat? You need to give more info so you can be better helped. Hell, it could be a hernia.

what you are talking about is a myth. anabolic steroids will not cause this, at least i havent ever seen it or heard of it. you are referring to the enlarged stomach's/ intestines of some pros. ive heard this mainly comes from GH, not AAS.

jstforme is completely RIGHT!!! There is absolutely NO such thing as AAS giving you a gut, only your diet on AAS and cardio will determine that, and of course genetics. And as far as soemthing you take giving you a gut (even though muscles still show), it would be HGH. HGH makes your body grow (including your insides such as stomach and intestines), and stretches out your "gut". If you've ever noticed at the end of O all of the bbers are fatigued and start letting their "gut" hang out b/c they can no longer keep control over it. Best bber to have ever controled his gut IMO is the one and only KEVIN LEVRONE!!!! Don't worry bout it bro.... no such thing:)

Thank you for the feedback. I think I will keep hitting the cardio and a grueling ab routine and stop worring.

Jstforme is correct as everyone else has stated. Only HGH and IGF-1 will pump up your organs.

Are you using insulin, Igf1, or HGH?
