So what kind of Dr/Surgeon would you go see to have gyno surgically removed?
Plastic surgeon? is there such a thing as a gyno specialist?
I have a PPO and would like/am thinking to have this done sometime next year.
I remember hearing that a couple guys on this board have had the procedure.
It appears from this article that a plastic surgeon is the best bet....

I was referred to a vascular surgeon. Not sure why but it was 20 years ago and I live in a very rural area.
I went with local anaesthetic...not sure I would really recommend
Had a drain in the incision for about a week. Drain got plugged so all the fluid backed up in my chest.:eek:
Better get everything cleared through your insurance provider as mine tried denying payment because they deemed the surgery "cosmetic."
Also be on guard after surgery...seems like everyone wants to "purple nurple" you :eek::mad:

its about four or five pea sized lumps on the right side, and one larger lump about four peas big on the left. It seems to come and go, in size, one day it is there and a little shrunk, the next it is a little bigger and tender. when the nipple in cold it is not a noticeable, I am really hoping that when I cut for the show it is not too noticeable.

did you have the entire gland removed? that is what I am wanting to have done so I do not have to worry about it again. plugged fluid drain that does not sound like fun. how are they now? any loss of sensitivity or side effects? and yes I am worried about the ins trying to deem it cosmetic, I am going to take to the dr about that and see if there is any other way or better way to write it up so that it will be passed through.

Your insurance can depend on how your doctor writes the order up.
compalin to your doctor that its very painful AND needs to be fixed quick.
some doctors will deem it a 'mass,,tumor,,cyst," and not specific gyno.

When does Gyno usually come about? I was under the impression that it started after finishing a cycle. I'm 6 weeks into my first real cycle and it almost feels like i have a line or something separating part of my pec beneath my nipple. I've checked it out a million times and my girlfriend insists there is no lump but obviously I am pretty nervous about it. (It could also have been like that my whole life, I have just never paid so much attention to my nips before).
