So here is the deal. Im hypoglycemic, and im having some issues gaining, and loosing like a want. I have to eat every two to 2.5 hours. Which isnt really a problem for me as I've been training for about 8 years, and would have to eat like that anyways. But I have to eat some form of carbohydrates every meal, and it has to be more than a few bites. So when I try to lean out it doesn't work very well. Right now im bulking, so it doesn't really bother me.

Im also going to start HGH in the next couple weeks, so im looking for some input in the area. I have two herniated disc's and sciatic pain every day. Been through an epideral, injection in the facet joint, and two branch medial blocks.... Now im hoping GH can help my back pain.

Im basically just throwing myself out to the wolves to see what people have to say about what im doing. Most of the guys I used to train with and get advice from are no longer around.... So Alinboard... whatcha think....

So if anyone has any advice im all ears... BE KIND.... Training with hypoglycemia, stabilizing blood sugar levels, good foods to eat, bad foods to eat, dieting, gaining...etc...

I work construction so i dont have a microwave, referigatior, sink, etc, and have to supplement a lot... I have a special deal with cytosport, so i use them exclusively, but im open to recommendations...
Typical daily eating habits.
610am 3packets oatmeal, 1 flavored, 2 regular, with scoop of evopro protien @600cals
800am muscle milk bar @ 220 scal
930am muscle milk collegiate shake, +glutamine, @600 cals
1130am chicken breast, sweet potatoes, carrots, broccoli @600-700cals maybe more
200pm muscle milk collegiate rtd @260 cals
330pm pre-workout HUGE fruit smoothie with glutamine, evopro protien @700-900cals
500pm cytomax carb drink, and hit the gym..... @100 cals??
630pm 15 min before im done lifting start drinking a muscle milk collegiat shake@ 600cals
745pm chicken, sweet potatos, or steak, or something to hold me over...600-700cals
945pm evopro shake, 26 grams protien @ 140cals

@4400cals daily.. I munch on chicken or tri-tip when im at home whenever i get a chance, so id say atleast 2.5 chicken breasts a day, and when i do tri-tip, i eat about 2-2.5lbs a day, so my protien intake is decent.

Currently at 212lbs, upper abs starting to show.
Training 3-4 times a week, cardio once a week, very mild.
I have a few cycles under my belt...
Im running a basic bulking cycle. im in week 8.
Cycle:
wk1-4 D-bol 60mg daily
wk1-12 Decca 520mg wk
wk1-12 t450 630mg wk
Hcg every 5th day.
arimidex .25 daily
PCT:
nolvadex/clomid typical protocol

Try eating brown rice with all of your meals and see how it goes.

Yes, i have researched it. I try to maintain my blood sugar through food. The DR has mentioned meds to help with this, but they want to wait tell im a little older. Also I do a pretty good job of maintaining my sugar levels.

Im a little cloudy on insulin usage in bodybuilding though. I don't think im interested in slin usage, as the dr basically explained that I secrete insulin too fast and bring my blood sugar down .... I am curious if I can use my over secretion to my advantage though? I know that controlling blood sugar levels is a big key to successful muscle growth and fat loss....

Correct me if im wrong!!!

if your hypo taking insulin will put you into a hypoglycemic coma

Yea, thats what I figured would happen, and why I have no plan of using slin. I still dont completely understand how slin is used.... I am interested in the blood sugar levels that are achieved with slin. Being that my body may be producing too much insulin, I was curious if I could use this to my advantage......

From what I understand there really is no meds for this. Best way is to eliminate sugar out of your diet over time.

Im not really sure! My doctor has mentioned a med, but shes a real piece of work... So who knows. I recently went in cause my wrist was bothering me, she didnt even look at it, just gave me a script for norco, and a splint.... it could have been broken, but she didn't even check range of motion. Its fine now, and without the use of norco's...

One thing I would no is in addition to your protien and cals... can you disclose your sugar grams per meal and total...????

I have never been a fan of oatmeal in a bag... you get more from your oats by slow cooking... I never doo minute oatmeal... thats just me...

WHERE ARE YOUR EGGS? You can hard boil eggs... fairly sugar less... and eggs with breakfast... nice low glycemic meal egg whites and oatmeal...???

WHERE IS YOUR TUNA??? Tuna comes in a pouch and a can..... Get the low sodium..

An no! you dont have to supplement alot. I bring 4 sandwiches to work with me to get me through my 8 hour work day.. thats a sandwhich every 2 hours.. tuna fish sandwhich... boars head roast beef another.. Natural Peanut Butter and Bananas... chicken sandwhich...

You can take wlamart bag... buy a frozen blue ice packet... freeze one of your water bottles over nite... the next morning you take your freezer packet, frozen drink and your sandwhiches to your job and put under the floor board in the truck to try to minimze sun exposure... just some ideas.... and this was done in a nice way..

I appreciate your advice joe4fsu. I do have eggs, but not enough. Tuna is also something I eat prob every other day, but I dont do a bunch of sandwiches, to much carbs even with whole wheat bread, ill crash.... And last but not least my oatmeal...LOL.. I hate the cooked stuff, I dont even cook the packets, just warm water in a bowl and pour them in... But I think ill try it again... Its nice to hear ideas and criticism from others, kinda keeps ya in check, and gets me out of my normal eating habits and into some new stuff....
