i was wondering what are everyones thoughts on Test only cycles, can you make them work for you?
i dont really know but im sure this was a common practice for old school body builders and they looked awesome.

if its your first yes it can help alot i used it on my first cycle and gained 10 to 15lbs. and im sure many others on this board have used test as their first cycle.make sure u have a good diet train hard and make sure u read. also what kind of test will u be using and for how long?

well, i am learning more every time i come on here. i was thinking either test e, or test c, for bout 10 to 12 weeks. ill probably run a test only cycle in the future, however my question was aimed more to whats wrong with 5 or 6 test only cycles just to keep you from goin broke? granted youll prolly wanna raise your doses every cycle,or every oher cycle.
250..400..500..... and of course pct.

i think 300-500mg should be fine for a long time a nice amount of years "3-4" atleast 5 cycles then 750mg for another bunch o years "maybe 5" and i dont think there should ever be a need to go over a gram of test "wich is 1000mg ew"
cuzz say you upping it every cycle or every other cycle well where the hell u gonna be in 17 yrs of cycling lol dotn go running 5 gram of test a week cycles lol.

i think you would be ok with not passing 500mg ew for your next 4-6 cycles. and in stead of upping it, add deca into the mix its rilly quite nice :-)

just my opinion i think having a higher anabolic like deca to test is better.
eg. deca 600mg ew and 400mg testE ew. somthing along thos lines.
over time after you bulk up with a bunch of test only cycles, try out a 300mg deca 400mg test cycle and compare that. then maybe go from there.

Test only is the way to get started. You don't need to up the dose until you stop making gains. You have the right idea though. Most newbies want to stack everything and the kitchen sink. Start with about 375mg per week.

Bump! Use the K.I.S.S. method until you stop gaining, then add more compounds.

155 currently, i stay at 160 usually.
bf, im unsure since ive been trying to cut up alittle, no more than 12%, i can always see my upper abs even at my lightest my lower abs wont show.

have you tried to put on weight in the past? just wondering, 155-160 is a little light (i do see your only 5'6'' so thats not too bad). if so, post your diet and training for when your trying to "bulk."

I like you're approach to cycling dirty larry. Keep things simple. Its
really the correct way to play this game....;) Keep a weekly log while
on cycle, for future reference. Compounds, Doses, Strength gains,
Size gains, BF% changes, Body weight, General health, etc.........

Also, since it wasnt thrown in yet. Doing a test only cycle will tell you how your body reacts to an AAS.

You dont want to be on Test/Decca for a first cycle, due to not knowing how your body will react. If your gyno prone, you wont know which Substance casued it.

I will be running a test only cycle, due to those reasons, and do to the knowledge of the board helping me out.

I think a test only cycle is a great way to go for a first cycle. You'll still make great gains in size and in strength. Just eat right, and lift hard. Good luck.

Okay, am I the only one that is going to suggest blood work prior and in this case after PCT??? A good habit to get into to. I know it has allowed me to continue making gains and feeling great. My wife doesn't complain, other than about her leg cramps :~) The log is something I see far too many newbies forgetting.

TEST is KING laways IMO!
Ive always made GREAT gains on TEST.
SUST,PROP,SUSP,CYCP,ENAN,,,all great in my book

Couldnt agree more. Start small, and stay with it for future cycle until your gains arent as noticable.

Run 2-3 Test only cycles, before you start to add different shit. You will get big just off of doing that..

Dude, I love what you just said! But, no matter how much you say it, people will most always ignore those core fundamentals...Mass gainer is a saint on test

I've done several test only cycles, mostly test e and sust.....each time I'd gain 10-20lbs and keep half of it and increase my bodyweight set point....although it doesn't always look as pleasing at the end as the beginning........usually I keep it between 400 (test e)-750mg (sust)a week...
