First off, I am glad to see that Alin now has this discussion board. I have ordered gear from him several times over the past 18 months and am very satisfied.

This post is part question and part information. I am nearly 60 years old, 6 feet tall, and below 160 lbs most of my life. I became intrigued with body building and wanted to enhance my physique a few years ago. I lifted for many years before trying any gear. I joined the SE website and that is where I found Alin and where I got my information on gear. When I decided to try some gear about a year and a half ago, like many novices I began with orals only (d-bol and stanozol). I did put on weight, but lost most of it when the cycle ended.

I did more research and my second cycle was Alin's gold cycle (500 Test En/400 Eq per week for 11 weeks, with PCT). I gain more weight and muscle this time and kept a lot of it. I repeated this cycle a few months later but did not gain as much. However, in retrospect it was because I didn't increase my food intake enough.

Now I am on a cycle of 750 test En, 300 masteron, and 300 deca per week. I ordered enough gear to go 16 weeks and I am 13 weeks into it. So far I now weigh more than I ever have in my life (193 lbs), have much more muscularity, and can lift more weight than ever. My question is, how risky is it to continue the full 16 weeks? I ordered HCG a couple of weeks ago and it should arrive soon (I know my testicles have shrunk but not severely), and I already have nolvadex and clomid on hand.

My observations during this cycle are: 1) the masteron really made my skin oily (you could see the outline and imprint of my body on the bed sheet within 3 days of changing the sheets), 2) I had a slight outbreak of acne, and 3) my libido went through the roof (like an 18 year old again). I don't know if this was due to the large amount of test, the masteron, or the deca, or maybe the combination of the three. I did not have this dramatic of an increase in my libido on the gold cycle of test and eq only.

Since I am nearly 60 years old, I noticed that my test levels had declined over the years. My current cycle really rejuvinated me. But now I am dreading the decline when the cycle ends. I can see why some guys don't come off.

Anyone out there ever stay on a high dose of test for an extended period? And if so, what happened when you cycled off and how did you handle it?

AT your age of 60 you may consider staying on a low to moderate dose testoserone therapy (200-500mg). This will help you in many ways at your age inlcuding keeping muscle mass and tone as well as keeping your libido high.

Bump Alin Brutha, at your age 200-500mg of test every 7-10 will not hurt at all IMO.

Thanks for your input Alin and Mick. From what I have read I agree that I should stay on a maintenance dose of test.

I have now completed 14 weeks of the 750 test en/600 eq (I finished off the Masteron a couple of weeks ago because the original cycle was a 12 week cycle but I had enough test and eq to go on a few more weeks). I finished off a vial of eq this morning and I am considering ending the cycle now instead of opening the remaining vial of eq (along with remaining test) and just save it for the next cycle. My question now is, if I decide to stay on a maintenance dose of test, say 250/week, should I still do the usual PCT recommended at the "end" of a cycle? Or will the maintenance dose of weekly test make it useless?

I did order HCG a couple of weeks ago from Alin and when it arrives, should I go ahead and do 1500 mg three times per week for a couple of weeks to get the testes enlarged again?

I went back into my training log and noticed that when I started this cycle 14 weeks ago I weighed 182. I am now 193 and more muscular looking and no increase in waist size (I gained a couple of inches in my waist on the previous cycle). At first I was disappointed that I only gained 11 lbs, but in retrospect this was my 3rd cycle and I have read that the gains get tougher with each cycle. If I can put on another good lean 10 lbs on the next cycle I will be quite pleased. This is from a hard-gainer who, in his youth, ran marathons (2:19 personal best at age 32) and topped out at 155 lbs (I used to be 6'1", but with age I have "shrunk" to just under 6" now).
