Finished my 12 wk Test E and Eq cycle on 21 May, starting Clomid/ Nolva standard PCT tomorrow. So far, a subjective bit of size loss, but no strength loss!!

After my last cycle (Test E alone, standard PCT), I lost strength and size rapidly, then experienced a number of overuse joint injuries that nagged me for months. I now wonder if the Clomid that I used was junk, or if the Eq has helped me gain better.

Using liquid Clomid recommended by other members here and diet/ persistance in the gym, I hope to hang on to my gains (Strength anyway).

good luck, you'll certainly lose some water weight (atleast i do) very rapidly at first, but that will atleast leave you with some definition! keep lifting heavy and eating big and lots of protein!

You don't actually start losing muscle until about 3 or 4 weeks out. That's why you have to wait at least 2 months after your last shot to see what you actually end up keeping. Any sooner than that and your just fooling yourself.

Understood, and thanks for the input. After my last cycle, I literally crashed within 3 weeks. Loss of strength was dramatic, and the overuse injuries to both shoulders, right elbow and left knee were sudden and severe. It really sucked to be me for a while...

I'm just happy as hell right now, not having the same sequence of events occuring.... yet, anyway.

i recently used test e and nolva, no clomid and rapidly lose size but no strength, my last cycle was eq only and i used nolva and clomid and kept all the gains and strength, so it prolly is the eq and clomid that helped, or at least in my opinion and past experinces

It was probably just the clomid. It works great as long as you get the real stuff...

What was you pre-cycle weight? What did you weigh at the last pin?

6', BF by caliper 12%
Pre cycle- 202lb
3 days after last pin (24 May) 226lb
Today, after a run & lift session 213lb
No strength loss.

Those numbers don't look too bad. Keep the diet clean. Lift hard and short.

Looking good so far and don't worry about the water loss. Just keep your diet in check and keep your workouts heavy, intense but short.

Clomid, if good quality, helps a lot. I like to add in Animal M-Stak too during and after PCT to maintain strength, energy and mass.

Time will tell, and a "N" of 1 means nothing statistically, but I still believe that I might have had lousy Clomid after my first cycle and the addition of Eq to my second cycle helped with "More permanent" gains (If there is such a thing).

OJS, you're an inspiration. I'm a decade behind you and it's tough enough to get out of bed and limp/creak/stumble to the kitchen for my morning coffee. The thought of older guys that keep pushing in any disciplined sport, whether running, swimming or weightlifting, keeps me pushing.

PS-Don't neglect getting your coronary arteries checked. At some point, you're bound to have some narrowing and if needed (Of course, hoping it's not), it's an easy enough thing to get fixed. The same goes for the rest of your innards, keep as healthy as your frame.
