So i'm two injects into my cycle now with number 3 coming up tommorrow. My problem is every time i've injected the site turns all red. Its sore but nothing terrible. I'm just wondering if this redness is supposed to be there, or if maybe i'm not injecting deep enough. I can't imagine this bieng the problem as i'm using 25g 1in needles to inject and both injects were delts(side and front). As much as I wanna pin delts again, the delt from my first inject is still a little sore and hard and hot to the touch so i'm prolly gonna hit quads. The front delt is just a little sore, and the skin around the injection site is red. I'm pretty sure neither is infected. If i had an IM infection large enough to make the skin red I would most likely be running a fever and in a lot more pain. I think the muscle is just irritated by the injects which is to be expected, anyways these are my first injects so if anyone has any tips on why the site turns all red i'd love to hear.

Not that bad really, just when i'm shirtless and i've got these two big red blotches on my delts i think people might know whats up lol.

Also the redness begins 2 days after the injection, and persists for 2-3 afterwards.

are you using stealth? i had the same issue first few shots...started taking zyrtec d...before i pin...any anti histamine will do...just nothing that will put you to sleep like benadryl lol...stealth has a high level of histamine in it causing adverse skin reactions aroudn the injection site...if you dont have a fever your fine...you can buy zyrtec OTC now....same thing also happened to a friend of mine using BP sust zyrtec took care of it right away... also just check your pinning technique...make sure your injecting very slowly...heat up the oil first as well

Yeah I wasn't really worried about an infection, and nah i'm using BP. I just wanted to make sure i was pinning deep enough, and not too deep etc. I think it's just b/c it's my first few injects. I'm gonna have someone else do my injections from now on i think as i don't have that steady of hands and i think i might move the pin around a little while it's in there. I inject slowly and I heated for the first time today. It was the most painful injection during the inject(which is not very painful lol) but now like 3 hours later i can't even tell I pinned it. This was my first repeat spot, so i think I was just not used to having oil pushed into my muscles lol. Anyways they've all been turning red I just wanted to make sure it wasn't b/c I was pinning like half subq or something...i stick the needle all the way in.
