Potency question regarding HRT and your own testosterone

i've heard that testosterone injections might not be as potent as natural testosterone. like even though you may injecting way more testosterone than a normal adult male produces, would it still be the same or better than relying on your own natural production?

i don't plan on doing this now or in the near future, but i know later on in life i will decide to stay TRT full time. just not sure if it would be worth it as long as your natural levels were decent. when i decide to do this, i plan on running cycles as normal, but then when i come off i would just come down to a normal TRT dosage.

anyone have any opinions on this?

200mg of test C per week for me brings my levels to the mid 500 range. I've done 200 every other week also, which brought my levels to around 375. But my natural levels are way below 100.

You need to know what your free test levels are as much as the bound test. As Ed17447 mentioned about weekly or every other... doc's protocol is typically 200mg every other week or even every two weeks in some cases.

Something else to consider is that your receptors must be receiving the hormone properly... :)

I have never heard that natural testosterone is more potent than sythetic, however on a mg per mg basis you can assume its more stronger because it isnt esterfied.
As far as TRT you certainly would have more stable levels if you came of cycle right into TRT, however I wouldnt mess with a good thing if I were you. Typically with all medications, IMO there is no better source than the human body if it can provide.

awesome, thanks for the replies people. when i come off and get done with PCT im gonna have my levels checked again like always. i haven't had any problems with my levels being affected yet, but i know eventually it's gonna happen. was just exploring my options a little and trying to search the board and get myself as educated as possible on TRT.

Yes you do!! thats why i had to go back in to get my blood taken again. The lady had 10 fuckin vials

Personally I would only do TRT if my natural levels were low. If natural levels are in good range i see no reason.
