Alin is superb but I feel your pain re: no customs letter for Canadians.
Looks like I have had 2 seizures from Alin and 1 from a trusted member. You would hope that customs had the decency to send out a letter about our activities!!! :D

we all no they monitor all theses boards' so imo' I think they read about the resend with seizure letter so they prob aint sending alot of them for that reason' now if they want u & ur an intrest 2 them they will proll send the letter hold on to the juice they seized already & when he resends it just more juice for them 2 tack on to ur charges' JMO' I might be way off like I said JMO':cool:

As for all the travelling COUNT, how do you manage to get any training done? At the moment I am in Azores and then on thursday morning I'm off to north of spain so it gets really difficult to keep training and maintain the diet in check...

i was out in a 76' sesna and the pilot said it was "new" plane cuz it only had 200hrs of flight time on it.... but we were doing radio tracking on wild game (biology interniship with dfw) and we kept doing circles for 2hrs tracking birds which had implanted transmitters... we were using gps to plot coordinates.... i really felt sick man... i dont mind flying in a big plane... but those smaller ones.... FUCK!! i got soooo air sick, but i didnt puke:D!!!

200HRS ENGINE TIME, NOT AIRFRAME TIME......if I was near a plane that had 200 hours airframe time, 22 years after it was built, i wouldnt get in it...machines are meant to work.......engine overhaul is a different story......

ahhhh....did my spin training in an old cessna, fucking thing clanked and rattled, thought it was going to break open at the third spin.....now put me in a pitts S2B and you can spin that puppy all the way down and grin doing it!!

i did alright, got my pp single engine in 40hr. got my high performance in 10hr more. i have about 250 flight hours in. most of them in a skyhawk sp.

I shied away from the heavy metal a/c's because the AMO and maintenance to flying time costs were high....I pulled out of a pitts single seater, the fuckers are a little toooo twitchy for me..I mean, I LOVE taildraggers, but the are like squirrels on clen those little beasts...put me in a S2 and I am in heaven tho.....

There is something about rag aeries that gives me wood (when I could fucking get a wood, that is!!) :D

fuck that, if it cant fly upside down, leave it in the hangar......guys here have spoken about drugs that make you shit like there is no tomorrow...do your first ground loop in a short-coupled taildragger and you view your next crap very very seriously......When I learnt to fly draggers, I landed in a cross wind with full rudder on the ground and it was STILL not enough...when the parachute club started to loom large, I hit the toe brake and ground looped her...thank fuck for grass!!!! (and I mean on the aircraft, not what calmed me down after !!!) :D

hahahaha.. i landed a skyhawk in a full cross wind, seemed like 50mph. anyway, sliped the whole way down on approach, full rutter and a ton of stick work still didnt save me. i touched down on an angle and ripped one of the rear tires right off. needless to say, it was a bumpy taxi. i did come in quite fast, no flaps because of the wind.
