SAW PALMETTO..SORE NIPPLES?

3 weeks ago I started using 320mg SAW PALMETTO daily,,,changed NOTHING else and have very painful sore nipples. Never had much trouble with gyno even on heavy cycles so I feel this has to be the SAW PALMETTO. I stopped intake today to see if it clears up.

Thats odd. Saw palmetto cant convert to estrogen or progesteron can it? It must be something else.

saw palmento is good for ur prostait.. maybe that lil cleaning prosess miight have kicked up some free test and maybe thats why ur nipples are sore... just squeez them till they feel good.. lol

Saw Palmetto can inhibit the conversion of test to DHT, DHT make the prostate grow, thats why it is good for the prostate..maybe this extra unconverted test is giving you gyno...Its a stretch but the only logical explanation I can think of

same thing happened to me. like the other guy said it inhibits test conversion to dht. dht is an AI and very androgenic. so now you have less dht that means less AI's and less androgens and higher estrogen in your body. i dropped it too but theoretically i probably could have increased my letro dose and fixed the estrogen problem... from what i've read the benefits of saw palmetto take a while to see if you have bph. so you probably wouldn't see the benefit in 3 weeks... but the higher estrogen is proof its working, lowering dht... just an idea. you could try some proviron and stay on the saw palmetto. that should get androgen/estrogen ratio right again. and proviron doesn't bind to the prostate as aggressively as dht.

i also take saw palmetto and i didnt realize it stops test from converting to dht, i havent been on it for too long but i dont have sore nipples. So should we stop takiing it on cycle???

the benefit is very good. you don't want bph when you're older and saw palmetto will prevent it. i would stay on and if problems arise drop it then. i've been thinking about trying it again and upping my letro dose.
