I can’t begin to stress how important dumbbell pullovers are. Like every other normal lifter, I too doubted them at first, but goddamn was I wrong. If your bench or chest growth is at a plateau, I will bet my bottom dollar that DB pullovers will help. Now just like any exercise, they have to be done properly. Two sets of 6 at the beginning of your chest workout aren’t going to do shit. Try this. After all of your heavy pressing, superset DBP with incline dumbbell flies for 15 reps each. Do your flies first and gradually increase the weight with each set, but use the same dumbbell for all 3 sets of pullovers. Keep your shoulders on the bench, and ass to the floor. Pull back very slowly until you feel a full stretch in your lats, and than bring the dumbbell forward just as slowly as you brought it back. One month of these and your chest will be exploding out of your t shirt; I guarantee it.

I superset DB pullovers with cable crossovers at end of chest workout for that final stretch. They do the trick well!

I love 'em but to be honest I feel them more in my upper inner tri's than anywhere else
