I get stretch marks real bad.
They say it Genetics, but that's not always true.
It does play a role though.
Hydration, vitamins, and moisture (lotion/oil)
I still get them bad. Do any of you?
This is why I hate bulk cycles.

My stretchmarks are absolutely crazy. My first couple of years I thought it was cool ya know. It just showed how beefy I was getting; I felt like I was bustin' out of my skin. But I'm pretty self-concious about them now. I've got them almost everywhere. Chest, shoulders, bi's, inner-quads. I saw a dermatologist about them last year and she told me that there is really no remedy for them other than keeping my skin hydrated w/ prescription skin lotion. She also mentioned to me that s-marks are hereditary based mostly on skin elasticity. Either u get em' or u don't is the way she put it to me.

I never have had them. I do use tons of coco butter so that may help.

I think elasitin is the stuff for pregnant women, not quite sure about the spelling. I use cocoa butter.

No dawg it does not have a pic of some preg-o on it. It's called AmLactin 12%. It used to be scrip-only but now it's otc. It's primarily used by people with psoriasis (sp?) who need a certain ph skin level. But it's also about the deepest penetrating topical skin lotion on the market, which in turn helps prevent the s-marks. Note the fact that I said HELPS but not PREVENTS those sexy motherfukers from poppin up all over the joint. U can find AmLactin @ most Walgreens or Rite-Aids for about 30-40$ for the avg 14 oz bottle. Just ask the pharmicist about it, he knows more than I.

Stretch marks suck, we all hate them and there really isn't any cure to get ride of them. I'm a licensed esthetician/make-up artist and I now work for a Cosmetic/Plastic Surgeon. The best defense is to keep your skin well moisturized at all times. There is a product on the market that is sold almost everywhere called StriVectin-SD it is made for stretch marks. Coco butter is a great cheap moisturizer also, use it morning and at night. The problem comes when we drastically gain and lose weight too quickly and our skin doesn't have time to adjust therefore it leaves a scar. Another option is laser treatments, there is a new laser out called the Titan which helps shrink and tighten the skin.
