Hey I was just wondering how endurance athletes can use aas and not gain excess weight. I know this may sound stupid, but do they just really watch their food intake and use aas for recovery purposes? I remember reading alot about tour de france cyclists getting caught failing with excess levels of test in their system. Thanks.

I read something about that. They use a chemical that super oxygenates the blood. Marion Jones was known to have used it. It all goes back to the balco days.

Yea I read about Marion Jones and her ordeal right going on now. I also read that winstrol is pretty popular with track athletes. Wouldnt think so considering alot of people have joint problems with it?

True about the joint pain, but a guy like Ben Johnson is (was) an elite athlete whose joints and connective tissue are more resilient than the average person's. My guess is that a track athlete would probably only use winny a few weeks before a meet, and during a meet for an extra boost while competing.

Thanks for the replies guys. On a side note I am pretty interested to see the movie bigger stronger faster. Its a suncoast movie put out this year, looks like it follows different people throughout the movie that use steroids. Don't know if anyone saw the preview on cnn the other day. Later

I guess I define endurance stuff as anything over an hour, say 10 miles running or a sprint triathlon up to the ultra stuff, ironman, etc.

True, you don't want to get big. But, that 15-25 hours a week training causes some serious muscle damage, lowers your natural T, and can lower your red bllod cell count just from the pounding your muscles take.

So, particularly as you get older, a light cycle or two during the off-season when you should be doing some strength work anyhow can get back some of the non-sport specific muscle that gets wasted off of you during the season; like core muscle, upper body, stablizing muscles.

On season, you can do a light cycle between big events to help recovery and boost your blood. Anadrol is good for that, but you will find you slow down big time while on it - the pump effect makes your legs feel like lead.

I favor mainly test, 250 a week or 10 days, and 250 HCG every 3 days for a light cycle. Nova for pct.

You want to play like the big boys, epo is where it's at - but that's some scary shit.
