i started a cycle of test c and eq about five days ago and now i have come down with a pretty bad head cold. I havent lost any appetite but i dont dare lift right now. I got three lifting sessions in this week so i think im just gonna lay around for a few days till it clears up. Have any of you guys bailed on a cycle due to a cold or flu? Should i lift through it? I'm thinking that will hurt my immune system
thanks guys

I went down with a nasty chest infection before x mas and while on gear I was taking antibiotics. I however, lost my appetite, still trained.
A few days off want ruin your gains, just keep eating, increase the water and vitamin C intake. You can drop the poundage and train with lower volume and less intensity.

If you can lift....lift. I tend to be a bitch though when I am sick so I lay low. A few days off might be a welcome break, especially in the beginning when the stuff is only building in your system right now.

x2.
Cyp is a pretty long ester, and if youre only 5 days in....youre fine. Take a few off. Keep you meals straight, and sweat it out. My theory has always been to encourage/enhance the fever to burn it out.

bump these
Also I will say this: if your hacking up green shit stay out of the gym. It sucks when I see other people trying like hell to get a workout in even though they are sick and there coughing and hacking all over the equipment. It spreads sickness and is unhealthy. Try to wipe off the equipment you do use too. It helps keep the place clean.
with that said I have been at the gym when I shouldn't have been. I know it's a bitch but try to remember the other members at the gym as well.

It depends on how bad you feel. You should be able to sense if it's better to stay home or work out. If you don't feel like working out, don't work out just because you are on a cycle. I got sick during my last cycle and didn't work out for a week. No biggy.

Have the rest and let the substances kick in then get back to the gym! Maybe some light work at the gym would be fine though.
